Didn't GB News just get fined £100,000? Yeah, for breaching broadcasting guidelines. They'd previously had 5 warnings I think Appealing to the Lowest Common Denominator? Meanwhile Thoughtful publications continue to pile in. "The Economist has weighed in on the presidential race, warning that a second Trump presidency carries “an unacceptable risk to America and the world.” “By making Mr Trump leader of the free world, Americans would be gambling with the economy, the rule of law and international peace,” the weekly newspaper said in an editorial published Thursday that endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president. “If The Economist had a vote, we would cast it for Ms Harris.” A publication widely read by leave voters, Reform Party Supporters and Trump Supporters. Not.

Not. I've given up on it mate, I suspect Trump wins unfortunately. We've reached the point there (and possibly here) where politics play second fiddle to whoever shouts loudest, without any accountability. Trump wins with Musk joining him, Putin will be happy and US slides further into fascism. I'm not a huge Harris fan tbh, well the current crop of democrats and policies anyway, for reasons I won't get into here, but even in the unlikely event they do win, the repercussions will be more ugly this time around. It's a lose-lose scenario.

Ofcom fined GB News for a programme featuring the PM. Ofcom. Hmm. Party political broadcast slots need to be allocated bas, due to the Communications Act 2003 Starmer was also offered the same package, and turned it down. It wasn't a party political broadcast. It was a 'townhall' meeting where the guest (Sunak) took questions from members of the public. The Sunak townhall meeting received 547 complaints about the show. 16,812 complaints were received over the GMB show where presenter Ed Balls giving his wife Yvette Cooper an easy ride, yet they didn't do a thing about that. The High Court has already allowed GB News to legally challenge this ruling.

Why do you make these allegations/suggestions against Trump and postal voting, when at the last election that suspicion was raised at the Democratic vote, as they received a suspiciously high amount of postal votes?

Of course you'll have to wait until the court hearing, as we all have to !

Sorry Oldie. This just happens to pop out 4 days before the election! It's obviously publicity seeking, or is there a book to push? I'm surprised that you take nonsense like this seriously.

By a strange coincidence I was looking for the location of Nike missile sites around Puget sound/Seattle and Cougar Mt Issaquah was one site !...all removed now and a national park. Ummmm..I am not quite sure what "Nike" missile sites are. The last time I looked they sold shoes? Care to elaborate? Surface to air missiles in the cold war,Seattle was and is an important target and since I posted North Korea has tested an icbm that is capable of reaching the US mainland and Seattle is the closest big target city to NK.

Even after all the negative media coverage of Trump he is still neck and neck with Harris...how bad must she be ? I want Trump to win because I think that he is the best choice for World peace in this very uncertain time, but if Harris does win I dont think that the Trump haters will be happy for long.

I have no idea of the US Defensive Positions in the Pacific North West. To be honest I saw more American military activity at RAF Lakenheath than I ever have in my visits to the North West. Pretty sure they are on top of it, especially given the economic importance of that area these days.
