Early voting begins in key state North Carolina weeks after deadly hurricane..by Sam Hancock in Washington DCichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/0fd3/live/51e0c3a0-8c7d-11ef-8936-1185f9e7d044.jpgEarly voting begins in North Carolina, a critical swing state won by Donald Trump in 2020, which both campaigns are targeting this time It comes weeks after Hurricane Helene, which killed more than 200 people - around 100 of them in North Carolina, where dozens remain missing Last night, Donald Trump described 6th January 2021, when his supporters rioted at the US Capitol building, as a "day of love". He was addressing an audience of Latino voters, who could prove crucial in this race Before that, Kamala Harris sat down with conservative network Fox News for the first time and said her presidency would be different to Joe Biden's National polling data suggests Harris has a slight lead over Trump, but it's neck and neck in crucial swing states

Quote one? I will help you out, as it is his current proposition. "I will impose import tariffs on..., and the foreign manufacturers will pay those tariffs" You are not stupid Nobby, explain exactly how the overseas manufacturers actually pay those proposed tariffs... Why are you firing that at me? Not personal, I just think you would be one of the few that would understand the question. I know you know the answer as well Unlike some of the Trump support on here

I will make a prediction,IF Harris wins and there is a 'Kamala Harris President' thread on here the usual candidates will mention 'Trump' 'the Republicans' in every post...even though Biden/Harris have been in power for the last four years....if I didnt think that Trump is the best bet to stop WW3 I would welcome a Harris win just to be able to laugh and say "we did warn you".

Hurricane rattled me, says woman who lost home, but voting still matters..by Paulin Kola in Washington DCichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/686c/live/4b46b160-8c93-11ef-81f8-1f28bcc5be15.jpgA resident in Boone, North Carolina, says that despite her home being destroyed by Hurricane Helene, she still intends to vote early in the US election The process, which allows people to vote in person or by mail ahead of 5 November, got under way in the swing state earlier today Cindy Galgano, currently living in a motel, told the BBC she's "always valued voting highly" and intends to cast her ballot for Donald Trump - who won North Carolina by about 70,000 votes at the last election Kamala Harris's campaign is vying to turn the state Democratic this time around, but officials have questioned whether the storm's aftermath will affect their chances Harris is campaigning in Wisconsin and has decided to break presidential tradition by not attending this year’s Al Smith charity dinner in person. Donald Trump, though, will be there

If Harris wins, I am sure that Trump will not go quietly into the night. I expect to see more of the same as with the Capitol Hill attack. There will be more need to watch out for the fighting in the USA let alone externally. I sincerely hope not but Trump's current rhetoric about 'the enemy within' and using the National Guard or even the military on his left wing opponents if he wins does not augur well.

It's terrible Cheshire. People turning away help from FEMA after the recent Hurricanes because they believe Trumps rhetoric. I cannot believe what is happening. I received this text this afternoon "Meanwhile here Harris stood up to a bully in a Fox News interview last night, while Trump said Jan 6th was a day of love. There will never be a politician that gets so many free passes ever again. He can literally say anything with no impact to his popularity." Yep, it's sick

Well, you wouldn't know would you? You most likely watched something on YouTube, couldn't understand why Google them sent you recommendations for Mickey Mouse movies and cannot answer the question as to who, exactly, pays the import tariffs your hero Trump is proposing. Can you

Another nonsensical rant with personal attacks, it's getting silly now. Sorry if the tariff questions are beyond your comprehension Why should I answer your questions when you ignored one suggesting that I did something that I never earlier this year and ignored my requests to prove it until the other day by giving cop out answer? And for the record, I don't agree with everything that Trump believes in or says.

Well I wasn't a fan of when he said about drinking bleach during Covid, even tho the interview where he said it was heavily edited and twisted,it was just not so wise thing for him to say loosely like he did. The same goes more recently about eating the cats thing.

Meanwhile On Thursday..... "Donald Trump has pulled out of two major interviews Thursday, after the Republican presidential nominee made several appearances this week that went disastrously awry.
Trump had been scheduled to do an interview with NBC News’s senior business correspondent Christine Romans that would air Monday, but the plans for a face-to-face were apparently shelved"
Then
"The former president also canceled his speech to an NRA convention on Tuesday in Savannah, Georgia. Convention organizers said Trump had a “scheduling conflict.”
These two changes come just days after Trump canceled plans to appear on CNBC’s Squawk Box, which the economic show’s co-anchor Joe Kernan reported."
Run rabbit run run run.
Meanwhile Trump's support in the UK are trying to solve the following equation:
Retail Price = (Manufactured Cost + Margin + Shipping Cost) * Trump's Import Tariffs %.
Where Trump claims the manufacturer will pay the tariff.
Is Trump's assertion True or False?
Only the willingly blind will give the wrong answer.

Meanwhile Contrary to the popular interpretation of Harris interview the interviewer,Brett Baker, had this to say post interview
"Fox News’s Brett Baier went on the offensive during an interview with Kamala Harris Wednesday night, but even he had to admit she got the best of him.
In a segment reacting to his own contentious interview, Baier conceded that Harris may have gotten exactly what she wanted from that interview."
If course he (Baier) made no mention of Trump cancelling his interviews after last weekends fiasco of Trump stood on a stage swaying silently to Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares to You" Imagine if she was still alive and her reaction, given her expressed views back in the day.
