Haitian migrants undercutting American workers at Springfield. It's all coming out,bit by bit. The migration problem. That's it That is exactly what was occurring when the Eastern Europeans first came into England ( undercutting) loads of 'them' were doing just that and getting a foothold into the employment market, mainly those who were self employed, eventually things evened out and life became 'normal' so nothing new there ...and there is usually someone ready to undercut someone else in an effort to get a job

Trump holds press conference after declining further debates..by Phil McCauslandichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/1024/cpsprodpb/d497/live/b8065ee0-71d6-11ef-b02d-c5f3b724a1ea.jpgTrump is speaking at Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, for a news conference He is holding the event one day after announcing that he will not participate in another presidential debate Moments after Trump's comments, Kamala Harris's campaign issued a statement saying "we owe it to the voters to have another debate" Harris and Trump have been on the campaign trail for the first time since they faced-off on ABC News Polls suggest that most voters believe Harris won the debate, though Trump claimed victory in his announcement that he would not debate her again There are just over 50 days until the US presidential election 6.35pmTrump is addressing landslides in the local area and land loss that is costing him part of his golf course. Hundreds of residents in Rancho Palos Verdes have had their gas and electricity switched off indefinitely because of how quickly the land is moving and sinking. Trump was joined at the top of his remarks by Rancho Palos Verdes Mayor John Cruikshank. 6.38pmSpeaking at his golf course in California, Trump has now turned his sights on California Governor Gavin Newsom, blaming him for what Trump is describing as the decline of the state. Referring to the governor as "Newscum", Trump said that Newsom and Kamala Harris have "hurt [California] so badly". He's explicitly blaming Harris for, allegedly, being soft on crimes. 6.46pmSo far in the press conference, Donald Trump has spent a significant portion of time focused on his rival Kamala Harris. He has been attacking her record as a prosecutor in the state of California. Harris began her career as the district attorney in Alameda County and then the city of San Francisco, before spending six years as California attorney general. Trump has named individual criminal cases, mentioning gruesome details of each one, and claiming Harris let off the offenders with lenient punishments. 6.51pmDonald Trump is moving from topic to topic quickly. But it's not with the same energy we've seen from him at campaign events throughout the election cycle. There's no crowd of supporters at this event, it's only with media. About 10 minutes into his remarks, Trump talked about the debate from earlier this week. He says he was fighting three "crazy left radical lunatics" - referencing Harris and the two debate moderators. He has frequently spoken out against the ABC News moderators since the debate, claiming they were unfair to him. He has continued to insist that he "won" the debate. Trump has not yet addressed his decision to forego additional debates. He's now talking about crime, with a focus on gangs.

I suspect he'd break Proboard rules and Cheshire would be obliged to ban him. ๐ I'm looking forward to Farage interviewing Trump again sometime and on GB News. Despite 2TKs efforts. That should be pretty impartial then. Presumably if a leading socialist journalist interviewed Starmer you'd be frothing at the mouth and crying 'foul!'

I can only imagine the outrage on here if Harris had said she won the debate and wasn't prepared to go for another round with Trump.

"Trumpโs Bedminster club hosted an alleged Nazi sympathizer who stormed the Capitol" If you think Harris is extreme left wing Ice I suggest you adjust your eyesight and or political antenna. I beg to differ, but anyway. Is there an answer to my question? "As a non fascist myself, out of interest what has killed more people in the history of the world?" Facisim or Marxism? The democrats keep calling Trump as fascist, yet they are behind a Marxist in Harris..๐ค Where has Marxism ever worked? Harris is a marxist? Really... That's beyond laughable

Ofcom received nearly 9,000 complaints, the most ever! Nothing was done about it.

Not sure what this has to do with the US election, but; "were 8,201 complaints related to the segment. Some were about Mr Balls's interview with Ms Cooper and others were about an exchange with Labour MP Zarah Sultana. An Ofcom spokesperson said: "We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate." The issue of politicians interviewing other politicians has been controversial in recent years, after GB News allowed a number of Conservative MPs to interview their colleagues." Ed Balls has not been an MP since 2015

As has been seen from the 24,618 complaints about GBNews in 2023, Ofcom works at the speed of a drunk snail and does very little about most complaints. TalkTV is leading this year with 18,244 Julia Hartley-Brewerโs heated exchange with Palestinian politician Dr Mustafa Barghouti on her programme received over 17,000 complaints. For factual reference there were 8,201 complaints about the Cooper interview and it is the second most complained about show after the JH-B programme above.

Good point, which just goes to show that a Farage/GB News interview won't be worth the teleprompter it's written on.

This made me laugh The idiot doubles down.
Trump
""I can say this, we will do large deportations from Springfield, Ohio โ large deportations. We're going to get these people out. We're bringing them back to Venezuela," he said.
The migrants in Springfield are mostly from Haiti, and have legal permission to be in the US under a federal programme for Haitians"
Sending Haitians to Venezuela.... interesting. Is this Trump's version of the Rwanda plan hatched by our own version of gross incompetence? Maybe Farage is advising him ๐๐

"The boy's father has hit back. Nathan Clark told a city commission meeting this week that he wished for "the incessant group of hate-spewing people would leave us alone". He continued: "My son Aiden Clark was not murdered. He was accidentally killed by a migrant from Haiti. This tragedy is felt all over this community, the state and even the nation. But don't spin this towards hate." Baseless, evidence-free, racist conspiracies usually stay deep down rabbit holes where they belong. But Donald Trump inhabits these rabbit holes. He is led down them by people in his inner circle, like Laura Loomer, a known conspiracy theorist who regularly travels in Mr Trump's entourage. Rumours which would usually only exist in small echo chambers precisely because there is no evidence no support them, suddenly get massively amplified when Donald Trump mentions them." news.sky.com/story/trumps-cats-and-dogs-conspiracy-is-fantasy-world-stuff-with-real-world-consequences-13213755

Doubt it, more likely agreed beforehand as the actual Isreal sanctions aren't that significant. The 'big stuff' is still licenced. As for the missiles and Ukraine, we need wide agreement although I don't have an issue with it myself.

Oh and heating for the elderly. "Heating for the elderly ". 2TK really ought to change his decision on the heating allowance in the UK.

Supporting Ukraine is vital for European security and they get it with my blessing.
