Wouldn't this be funny 🤔🤣 "Tories could be reduced to 66 seats at July election, new poll suggests The Labour Party could win the upcoming election by a landslide with a 302-seat majority, a new poll has suggested. The large-scale MRP polling, published by Electoral Calculus and Find Out Now, predicted that the Conservatives will be reduced to just 66 seats, compared to Labour with 476. The poll includes two scenarios - the results with and without tactical voting (TV). In the with TV scenario, the Tories would return just seven more seats than the Liberal Democrats, who would have 59. The poll also suggests that 18 cabinet ministers would lose their seats. They include: Oliver Dowden, James Cleverly, Grant Shapps, Penny Mordaunt, Kemi Badenoch, Claire Coutinho, Mel Stride, Gillian Keegan, Mark Harper, David Davies, Victoria Prentis, Esther McVey, Andrew Mitchell and Johnny Mercer. All of these seats would be lost to Labour, the poll suggests. The Multi-level Regression and Poststratification is a method of polling which Electoral Calculus claims has "successfully predicted the last two general elections". The polling of 10,000 people was conducted between 20 and 27 May" news.sky.com/story/general-election-live-uk-latest-politics-sunak-starmer-davey-economy-tax-immigration-tories-labour-lib-dems-12593360#liveblog-body&sv1=affiliate&sv_campaign_id=85386&awc=11005_1717238501_6253fb814f481f664ec0c74d11997a63&dcmp=afc-85386-na-na-longtailDepends what poll you want to believe. Last week there was a poll saying Labours lead over the Tories had reduced to only 12 percent.

Last week there was a poll saying Labours lead over the Tories had reduced to only 12 percent. They will walk it I’ve no doubt , they all think voting for labour will bring them milk & honey , as a example was the young lady who rang into lammy to tell him she was voting labour as she would then be able to afford a house , car & be able to go out socially with her friends , credit to lammy he said hang on , we’re taking over a terrible ( maybe not the word) situation finically and it’s going to take 10 yrs until we will be able to make any meaningful changes . I’ve no doubt 99% of labour voters believe as the young lady , the apparent staunch labour voter who rang in after & said if you’ve not changed anything in 5 years you’ll be gone !! I listened to some financial experts on tv , according to them labours finical plans don’t add up I can understand why people will vote for them ( I could never vote for a party ( Emily thornberry , Hilary Ben , dawn butler ) but my gut feeling it will be tory chaos ++++

Adding to the post above from LIS: Lib Dems call for more Premier League games on free TV..by Ione Wells, Political correspondent & Becky Morton, Political reporter.upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f2/Premier_League_Logo.svg/280px-Premier_League_Logo.svg.pngThe Liberal Democrats are pledging to make 10 English Premier League football matches per season free to watch on TV for everyone, if they win the election. The party said the promise was in response to rising ticket prices and streaming subscription costs. The Lib Dems said fans who wanted to watch games on TV may have to pay hundreds of pounds per year as games are split across different subscription streaming platforms including Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video. But it is likely any change to existing arrangements would be subject to intense opposition from the Premier League and paid-for streaming platforms. The Lib Dems said its manifesto would promise to put 10 Premier League games back on free-to-air channels like the BBC and ITV, as well as 10 games from the Scottish Championship and 20 games from the English Football League, such as the Championship. The party told the BBC to implement their plans they would amend the Broadcasting Act 1996, which gives the secretary of state for digital, culture, media and sport the power to draw up a list of sporting events which are in the "national interest". i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/06/01/08/85588145-13483179-image-a-1_1717228225851.jpgLib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey has promised to make Premier League matches free for all on TV in a new manifesto pledgeBroadcast rights to these events must be offered to the main free-to-air terrestrial broadcasters on “fair and reasonable terms”. This would require the majority of MPs to back a change to the law. However, in practice lobbying from the Premier League and streaming companies would be likely to sway any political debate on this issue. Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey said: “The Conservative government has completely failed football fans, from breaking their promise to create a football regulator, to allowing greedy broadcasters to hide Premier League football away from millions. “We need to tear down the paywall and give Premier League football back to the country. It is a scandal that the country is locked out of watching the best teams." Plans to set up an independent football regulator, which would have the power to sanction clubs who break financial rules, were dropped after the surprise election announcement as there was not time to pass the new law. A Conservative Party spokesman said: “The Liberal Democrats are just making things up at this point. They can't force TV companies to reduce subscription prices, or football clubs to make tickets cheaper, and the government remains committed to delivering the Independent Football Regulator. "This is sad, desperate stuff from a party that people are struggling to take seriously." The Labour Party has been approached for comment.

National union of school teachers saying if the tax on private schools goes ahead & it costs 1 school teacher there job they will take industrial action 😂😂 Private school in Dereham Norfolk to close if labour proceed with there tax on private schools , meaning 40% of the pupils who are special needs will loose there places , there parents are plumbers / joiners etc 250,000 pupils will probably move from private schools to state schools if labour tax on private schools goes ahead , when Yvette cooper asked how will you accommodate these pupils , shrugg of her shoulders Labour apparently now reviewing this plan , u-turn comming 🙄

Starmer and his cronies who have ridiculed Sunak as "out of touch" for using private planes to travel around the country used....yes you've guessed it... a private jet to travel from Wales to Scotland to attend a clean energy jobs rally. So first we have Angie benefitting from Maggies Council Right to Buy Scheme a scheme she now ridicules and then Starmer on private jets! Oh the hypocrisy of them.

Chap on radio saying if the tories want a jump in the polls they need to replace sunak with a white man / women leader , must admit I’d been thinking that for a while . You only have to look at the Labour Party to see how well that seems to work 😜😂😂
