Oldie, you contradict yourself so much at times it's scary. The irony of my question was missed. I think you need to Google the meaning of the word irony. It's like goldy and bronzey, only it's made of iron.

BBC's Fiona Bruce in Question Time 'bias' row after halting show for Reform correction..by Sasha Morrisichef.bbci.co.uk/images/ic/1200x675/p0d8kjcq.jpgBBC Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce was left red-faced after she was forced to issue a correction mid show after shutting down a Reform Party member. Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce was forced to halt the show to issue a correction after shutting down a guest on the show. Reform Party chairman Zia Yusuf appeared on the political panel show and when he called out the huge number of asylum seekers coming into Britain, BBC host Fiona was quick to intervene. Yusuf pointed out that the UK takes in more asylum seekers per capita than France, but Fiona abruptly shut him down. She said: "Just quickly Zia, France takes more per capita, in terms of asylum seekers, I think Germany might do as well, we are quite far down the list," before insisting on moving back to the audience questions. However, later in the show, Fiona was forced to pause the show to correct herself, as she said: "Actually before we move on, I just want to say, Zia, you are right, in fact, that France takes fewer asylum seekers per capita than United Kingdom. "We take more than that, it's important to get that right. Okay let's move on," but failed to issue an apology to viewers at home. Viewers of the show rushed to social media to share their fury at Fiona's behaviour, as one said: "The bias seen on program by Fiona Bruce is unacceptable. "Clearly tried to shut down and argue points with @ziayusufuk at every opportunity. Biased audience selection again by BBC not reflecting UK population." GB News presenter Alex Armstrong said: "What an absolute embarrassment. BBC have to fact check themselves in real time." Another viewer chimed in: "Just watched Question Time. Fiona Bruce constantly interrupting the panel, and the usual ‘impartial’ audience in Milton Keynes. The best person on the panel was from Reform, and as expected, his views were not popular. Nothing changes."

That's probably what she was thinking of, but a mistake nevertheless, easily made. I'm not sure how the journo knew those correcting her were "sharing their fury".

Net zero immigration, not zero. No ticey said the other day if and when they get into goverment there will be zero immigration to this country , I think zero immigration is virtually impossible. Essential people from abroad will always be required. It wouldn't go down well with businesses either if they were unable to take people in that they want to recruit. Maybe net zero could be done but it would be a nightmare to manage.

Net zero immigration, not zero. No ticey said the other day if and when they get into goverment there will be zero immigration to this country , Except for certain professions where there is a shortage, such as health workers. No immigration isn't realistic.

No immigration isn't realistic. The jobs you talk of can be filled by the people of ill health/ on benifits etc that more free gear has said he’s going to get back to work , I believe but maybe wrong that there are millions in this country who are on benifits , if more free gear keir is true to his word they can replace the immigrants .

Leaving the eu didn’t go down with my boss well as his supply of cheap eu migrants ended ,he’s still moaning about how much more it’s costing him in pay rises / retention bonuses etc , but we’re still trading / he’s still gets his 6 months on his yacht, new Bentley every 2 years & apparently has a McLaren / Ferrari in his garage 🙄🙄, so yes I’m no doubt bosses will be moaning about paying extra wages to the indigenous population who more free gear keir said he going to train up ( my kind of policy ) .

Labour’s plan to get Britain working: How we’ll boost employment, deliver better training and secure higher wages Jun 4, 2024 Labour’s plan to get Britain working: How we’ll boost employment, deliver better training and secure higher wages Labour has a plan to get Britain working, with an ambitious target to get two million people into work and deliver the highest employment levels in the G7.
There you go , commies have said there getting 2 million back to work , what’s net migration ? I believe about 650,000 ? So that’s 3 yrs covered , then they said there sending doctors out to check people on benifits for ill health , starmer said he want them & everyone on benifits back to work No idea what ticeys plan is , maybe similar , get those on benifits back to work

We always know when he is lying, like Johnson and Trump, it's as soon as he starts talking. That's a lie itself.. or worst, delusional thinking . You say that because you are a lefty and dislike what they say. I'm " NOW " a right thinking person, so I dislike most of what Harris..Biden... Stanmer and co say, but I wouldn't hang my hat on saying that everything that they say is a lie just because I disagree with them.
