Precisely put. But hey, as long as Reform keep banging the immigration drum some will keep following, a bit like the Pied Piper of Hamelin. You are a head in the sand type aren't you. You are aware that immigration is the hottest ticket in town politically all across Europe? You are aware that Germany are ripping up the Schengen Agreement? Holland and others want to follow suit as well, because of immigration. Or maybe you are just unaware. Sheep are sheep. Their nationality is not particularly relevant

Holland and others want to follow suit as well, because of immigration. Or maybe you are just unaware. I think most people are aware of that Nobby. It's more of an issue for Southern Europeans than for us. France takes 3 times more asylum seekers and Germany 4 times. The latter has become an issue since Merkel's open door. That's what really put pressure on Schengen. As for Rwanda being a deterrent, the scheme was announced under Boris Johnson and most people aware of it as internationally as it threatened to break international law. If it was such a threat why did the numbers coming increase. Surely if people heard about it in April 2022 that would have seen the flow dry up as the Conservatives ploughed £100mlns into the scheme. The fact it increased over a two year period shows it was never a deterrent.

Dumb and Dumber? In the scenario things carry on progressing for Farage and Reform, then this new political party may actually make a serious break through at the next GE. Reform look like they can beat our first pass the post system. Please carry on laughing Oldie.👍

Farage delivered a speech with style, humour and intelligence.
Strolling on stage, with no autocue he came across every bit the leader of Reform.

I did'nt publicly rip up any letters from the BBC.That was Lee Anderson. As for Laura,it's ages since I saw her interview anybody, mainly because I have no tv. I know she's upset a few people in her time, but I can't remember much about her. I read some online BBC news and I see her there now and again.

Nigel Farage makes claim about Reform UK's General Election chances..By Dave Burke, Political Correspondent
Nigel Farage said 'the opportunity is there' and said the party has 'come of age' following a crisis-plagued General Election campaign this summeri2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article33717540.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200d/0_BRITAIN-POLITICS-REFORM-UK.jpgNigel Farage insisted that Reform UK could win a General Election as he claimed his party has "come of age". The former Ukip leader claimed "the opportunity is there" to trounce the Tories and Labour in five years' time. He vowed to make the party more professional after it was hampered by a series of embarrassments over the summer. Speaking in front of 4,000 cheering supporters at the Reform conference in Birmingham, chairman Zia Yusuf claimed Mr Farage could one day become PM. Mr Farage said: "But I don't think there's ever been a time when there is greater disenchantment in the two big parties that have dominated our political life for the last 100 years. Labour have not won through there. The opportunity is there." He pledged to root out extremists after admitting that the party's vetting wasn't up to scratch. He said: "We had the teenage tantrums, which caused us the most problems in the general election. "But we're now at a different point. The party is an adult. And this weekend Reform UK comes of age." The comments came on a madcap day which also saw loudmouth Lee Anderson rip up a TV licence reminder as he was cheered on by supporters. Bizarrely, Mr Anderson added: "The greatest achievement during my political career was in 2022. I was voted the worst man in Britain by The Daily Mirror."

With that and that you admit not watching TV, relying on some online news, are you sure you've been able to see enough to make an informed judgement on whether the BBC is biased and woke?

Online stuff and times when I visit people that have a tv inspector. I know she's a high up sure I've seen her at White House press conferences eg. GB News for the bulk of mymedia news means I hav'nt given Laura much thought. The BBC is often an extension of the Guardian,is'nt it Baldrick.

Nope, and if you watch her interviews with the likes of Boris Johnson you'll spot a different tone. She's no Nick Robinson (her predecessor) and he was a paid up member and activist of the Conservative Party.
