Yup. Despite SKS 'words' the Labour Party remains anti-semitic. They thought they had got rid of it after ridding themselves of Hamas apologist, Jeremy Corbyn. But it's still there. Tip of the iceberg, or just one bad apple. Could be a good harvest this year. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68280098SKS had to rely on a Mail/Mail on Sunday sting to find out. Because he obviously doesn't know what sort of candidates he is endorsing.

Because he obviously doesn't know what sort of candidates he is endorsing. I listened to the recording of the comments he made, the candidate that is, and he said "I cannot believe that the Israelis did not have any forewarning of what was planned for October 7th." Well yes, given their reputation for intelligence services I am a bit surprised. The context of that apparent intelligence failure was(still is) a pretty repulsive Uber nationalist government which, prior to the horrific events of October 7th was facing massive unrest and demonstrations, to the point where even military reservists we refusing to serve. Could I IMAGINE such nasty government risking something like that to turn heads? Yes I could. Do I believe they planned for what happened? No I do not. Is there an element of doubt, indeed, but that may stem from my intense dislike for such governments and their views. A bit like the views expressed on here on occasion, public hangings, rounding up people as traitors and more. Do my views make me anti Semitic? Absolutely not. But then the Tories and the supporters of right wing governments have to hang their hats on something, anything. After all, they are totally incapable of making a solid fact based argument for their views, are they. As far as Starmer's leadership on this one issue is concerned, he effed this up. He has work to do to convince the population he is competent and hard enough to lead. Tony Blair was, that's why the Tories despised him so much. Somebody on the forum labelled this segment of the Labour Party "Red Tories"

The Israelis have already admitted they screwed up. Intelligence Analysts had picked up on something was brewing, but like 911, that analysis was over ruled. It was indeed a huge intelligence failure. These things happen. As the IRA always said, "the Brits have to be lucky every day. We only have to be lucky once!". To suggest that the Israelis know what was going to happen, and just let it happen anyway, is abhorrent.

You have to be very cynical to think that the Israelis would let Hamas make the attack and sacrifice 2000 + Israeli citizens lives. This Israeli government is very extreme, would they ignore intelligence deliberately because it suited them to have the attack take place ? Tony Blair took Britain to war because he had seen intelligence about Iraqs weapons of mass destruction,so we know that some people do what suits their agenda.

How sad is that in this day and age? Disgusting state of affairs.

From last November
"Ahead of expected mass protest in London, Jewish leaders say Tommy Robinson and supporters 'not allies of the Jewish community"
"The London demonstration on Sunday, organized by the Campaign Against Antisemitism, is expected to bring crowds of about 40,000, including a significant presence of non-Jews."
But organizers deny sharing a mindset with the far-right. “Contrary to what Tommy Robinson appears to believe, the drunken far-right thugs who came to ‘protect the Cenotaph’ on Armistice Day, some of whom shouted ‘sieg heil’ or hospitalized police officers, are not allies of the Jewish community and are not welcome at our solidarity march,”
There you go Indigenous anti Semitism.

Was that the same meeting? Wow...less about their views than how the hell did they pass vetting? We do need to be a bit careful though, so as to not shut down viewpoints for political expediency...in my view

I have no idea who made what decision and that doesnt matter, its what people believe happened thats the issue.
