My sympathy for anybody who watches Morgan. It's difficult to get psychiatric help on the NHS but you could look at the private route.
I was looking at JB'S tweets earlier and I don't think he is very well. So jesting aside I hope he can sort his mind out.

The unspeakable in conversation with the execrable. Gobsh1tery squared. I’d switch off either, let alone endure both. Thank you for a handy reminder never to go near that channel.

Joey was grilled by Morgan and tep women changed his tine a tad but was supported by an American woman who totally agreed with him.
He said he did not enjoy being shouted at by the two and Morgan had difficulty keeping it civil.
He did mention Bristol Rovers hergametoo and playing 600 games so was an expert and knew what he said was best!

I think there is clearly an issue with box ticking for the pundits and commentators which seems to outweigh the importance of being the best person for the job.
But it's sport coverage in general, there was a lady covering a few of the Scotland rugby matches who thought she was a happy Emily Dickinson and it was painful listening.

What is the difference in saying women cannot pundit on the man’s game because they have never played the male game professionally, with saying no male journalist can pundit on football too if they havn’t played the male game professionally?
It’s not just many journalists who can read a game and sum it up far better than 600 game Joey Barton has, but posters to this forum can read a game and sum it up better than Joey can.
You simply don’t have to have played professionally to be a gifted football journalist, broadcaster and pundit worth listening to, whereas so many top footballers who have given broadcasting and punditry a go have proved to be awful, giving us about as much depth and insight as a passing insect could have bettered. There’s some I like, and some I don’t like, of all sexes and professional experience on the field. TNT Sport had Scholes and Hargreaves in the studio last week. If that sounds like a firm of estate agents, then good luck to them in that, because football pundits they sure aren’t - my quality of life improved when I realised I could mute their pretentious drivel. Whereas, TNT co commentator Lucy Ward is absolutely fantastic at that, measured, insightful on the game developing in front of us and how and why it’s taking that shape. Joey Barton reckons Lucy should be swapped out for Andy Townsend or Alan Shearer? f**k off!
And not only that, but it reads across into coaching and management too. Bristol Rovers have had far better managers than Joey Barton, who didn’t even play so many games at the level he played them at, is the truth of the matter.
This one insight reveals so much about Joey Barton doesn’t it? Like what right does anybody have to tell him he is wrong, about anything at all? There is something about his make up where he cannot be told he’s wrong. He can’t even hear himself say it, despite possessing more insight and knowledge in himself than anyone else on earth. How many opportunities did he have to say “I got it wrong” into camera, and just couldn’t do it?

Laura Woods wades in to Joey Barton female pundits row with perfect "eunuch" putdown..By Mark Jones, Sports Features Editor.i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article31620763.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200d/0_Untitled-1.jpgThe outspoken former Manchester City, Newcastle and QPR midfielder has seen fit to criticise female pundits working on men's football in a series of tweets posted since Wednesday night's Premier League fixtures Laura Woods snapped back at Joey Barton's rant over women working in men's football by pointing out at that the former Premier League midfielder was risking making himself a "eunuch" too. Barton has attracted plenty of attention since Wednesday night by posting a series of tweets expressing his opinion that there are too many women working on television coverage of the men's game. His initial tweet read: "Women shouldn’t be talking with any kind of authority in the men’s game. Come on. Let’s be serious. It’s a completely different game. If you don’t accept that. We will always see things differently. The women’s game is thriving. Fantastic to see. I cannot take a thing they say serious in the men’s arena." He also compared women commentating on men's football to him talking about "knitting or netball". As expected and no doubt planned, that tweets provoked quite the reaction from all sides, with Barton then doubling down with several more tweets on the subject both on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. In one, he again expressed his desire for women to solely cover women's football, writing: "Girls to spectate and watch the far superior men players, play the game properly. I have no problem with that. None at all. We should really encourage it. "They also have a fantastic sport called, Women’s football they can and should support as well. But the influencer nonsense. The takeover of comms, Co-comms and punditry stuff, it’s got to end mate. It’s becoming a joke." Barton also responded to several men taking issue with his comments by calling them "eunuchs", and posted images of dolls without any genitalia to emphasis his point. Barton also responded to a fan who claimed he was "finished in football and he knows it", writing: "Been in football since I've left school pal. I'll decide what I do in the game. It actually bores me. Full of s***bags. Maggots. Liars. People pleasers. Luckily, I've played at a level to earn enough to say and do what the f*** I want."

Is he an attention seeker, or vastly inadequate, or a bit of both do you think? Makes Robbie Savage sound like Sir David Attenborough, doesn't he?

Not to get confused with Laura Woods the pianist. This could be Bach. Or just Bach to front. Attachment DeletedApparently she was both Brahms and Liszt.

I really hope the remaining association between Barton and Rovers might be forgotten soon.

I don't think this is particularly objectionable or inaccurate. You can support equality between the sexes while objecting to a particular political agenda being shoved down your throat at each and every opportunity.

Nice one, AMPG
I watched the Sheff Utd v Liverpool game the other night, and the only outstanding highlight of a dull 90 minutes, was the woman commentator (sadly I didn't get her name). The game was streamed by Peacock, an American arm of, NBCUniversal. Her MALE so-called pundit an ex-professional footballer was . . .
Still, it was free, and had a proper set of cameras unlike the rubbish iFollow dish up for a tenner. Sadly, I don't get to watch many live games, though online viewing with Mrs. darlo, is highly entertaining

Like the Duck, I cant believe we are still discussing the warped views of Joe Barton.....he's gone, it’s ts what we wished for, Gasheads now need to ignore the self proclaimed expert. it’s because his views popped over the front of the print and digital media today, mentioning Bristol Rovers in the same paragraph. if it would be good for us if he got other gigs, becuase he might not then be remembered as the Bristol Rovers manager.

I wouldn't wish him on another football club. Maybe 1982.

He is trying hard to flog his new podcast and doing everything he can to get bites and clicks, begging bigger stars to engage with him.
Don't feed the Troll and ignore him, I would be happy if this forum became a Barton free zone.
