After todays Division Three fixture, there will a lot off players ‘kicking around’ with yet another long imposed break.
Its starting to resemble American Football, only difference being, the breaks, are on an industrial scale. Its not as if our team is ‘rammed’ with internationals so why the feck doesn’t the show go on?
This also applies to the grossly over paid Premier League squads, surely they could still ‘knock up a competitive team’ which would give some of the fringe players a chance to impress.
Hence, I been absent for a while, as I been bored by the lack of energy and talking points a typical football season generates. The only points of interest from a very long preseason is off the pitch and that’s watching the South Stand come together and JB getting his marching orders for calling a ‘Fat bloke’ Fat!

Third Division fixture? It's league one mate
The maximum breaks are in snooker You will no doubt remember Hurricane Higgins my favourite The George Best of the green blaize.
With breaks more tome to recover from injury and build team spirit
Point of fact Jb not sacked for calling anyone names ...but simply poor points return over 2 and a half years dont letctye truth get in the way of a silly comment
You need to get out more. Walk 60 miles for prostrate cancer Uk

After sadly losing one of the toteend4, there will be even fewer ‘soundbites’ emulating from from the ashes. That said, we are united on one matter and that is, for us not to rush to dismantle all the ‘positives’ from the Barton dynasty, such as infrastructure, training, diet, belief, style of play,. professionalism etc
Therefore it’s a no brainier that AM keeps the Joey Baton until the end of December, then a decision can be made about manager and resigning JCH who’s been warming the bench and twiddling his fingers and thumbs for the last couple of months.
Talking of twiddling fingers and thumbs, at least we go into our latest enforced break, having finishing with a ugly win in Scotland yesterday.
All of which keeps us in touch, in what is starting to look like a very open promotion race back to Division Two .

I wonder if the new owners think the same way? I think it's probably the reason that AM won't get the job. He is/was too close to Barton. If AM stays on as coach (and I hope he does), then 'if' the previous manager finds another job, I would imagine he will be off to join him. Which is fine by me. If AM stays on as coach and the previous manager fails to find another job - then AM stays, and that's also fine by me.

Perhaps a Kuwait coach is coming in who has a grasp of scouse accents and will bring some Kuwait players desperate for a break into English football
Netflix poised to record a series of Kuwait to the Mem with some welcome world wide publicity for Bs7.
The Kuwait business group to sponsor the South Stand and stream live broadcasts over the whole of the Arab world. TG currently abroad negotiating a Rovers Fans Zone
Kuwait is one of the richest countries in the world. The Kuwaiti dinar is the highest-valued unit of currency in the world. According to the World Bank, Kuwait is the fifth richest country in the world by gross national income per capita. Kuwait's economy is the world's twentieth-largest by GDP per capita. Rovers have fallen on their feet with these new owners

Still believe we need a manager like Monk for us to get into the 2nd division and stay there. Would have liked JCH at the time. But things have moved on since then. That Carlisle forward ( Gibbons ) looks usefull. Also don't think this new board fully understood our predicament regarding the FM and I'm sure if they had this time over again. Would probably not have joined us. Was Mike really Toteend04 ?

It was a very nice touch that his final journey was accompanied by Irene Goodnight and I enjoyed Funeral Celebrant dry comment ‘ well that’s never been done before’ Iam sticking to my initial take on the manager situation and AM deserves a shot at it, and so far hes embraced it after all if it ain’t broken…….

It was a great send off. I don't hardly post on this forum as I think its full of people that clearly have vendettas against most things to do with Rovers. One of them is answering your question above. Think I'll stick to " Gas Chat " where not all but most of the posters are at least civilised.
