Kane's goals - plus one from Kingsley Coman - helped Bayern end a three-game winless run in all competitions. They faced a tough task against a Stuttgart side who sat back and limited their chances, leading Vincent Kompany's side to enter the break frustrated and with the deadlock unbroken. Bayern eventually found a way past Stuttgart's steely defence when Kane drilled a low effort into the bottom corner from around 30 yards out after Joshua Kimmich overturned possession. Having waited until the 57th minute to get the better of Alexander Nubel, it took under three minutes for the next to arrive with Kane producing an excellent bit of skill to flick the ball over a lying defender and power home from close range. He was then in the right place to bundle home again after a Kimmich effort deflected off a visiting defender and grab his third goal of the game. Substitute Coman inflicted a late fourth blow, taking advantage of another deflection before smartly turning inside and firing into the far corner. Victory saw Bayern - who had drawn their previous two league matches - return to the top of the Bundesliga, sitting ahead of RB Leipzig on goal difference. Stuttgart, meanwhile, are ninth. Raphina opener the scoring inside the first minute after latching on to a ball over the top and rounding goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. England captain Harry Kane equalised for the visitors by volleying in Serge Gnabry's cross at the back post in the 18th minute. But Barcelona continued to punish Bayern's ineffective high line with Fermin Lopez sent through and poking the ball past Neuer to set Robert Lewandowski up for the host's second 18 minutes later. On the stroke of half-time captain for the night Raphinha made it 3-1 with a fabulous curling finish from the edge of the box. Michael Olise opened the scoring with a 20-yard free-kick over the wall after 15 minutes, becoming the second player after Harry Kane to score as many as five goals in his first five Bundesliga away appearances for the club. Jamal Musiala latched on to Joshua Kimmich's dinked free-kick, ghosting in behind the Bochum defence to head past goalkeeper Patrick Drewes at the near post. After the break, Kane slotted his ninth league goal of the season into the roof of the net from Musiala's pass. Vincent Kompany's side bounced back after they were soundly beaten by Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek.
