British judges would make judgement, not European . What was that humorous quiz programme on R4? Oh yes "Sorry, I havent a clue" How on earth can anyone support change when they have no clue what change will look like? You and Labour apparently prefer the quiz show Give Us A Clue. Based on charades, the Labour way.

British judges would make judgement, not European . So just for clarity, you are happy with the actual content but have an issue with who interprets and how they interpret. Is that fair? More to it,I'm working.....

No problem, look forward to a fuller response later. 👍 Who stopped the Rwanda flights? Yvette Cooper. Not too busy at work then, Bas? Can you answer my question now?

They delayed whilst domestic legislation was amended or clarified. The Conservatives said it was all resolved and flights booked. It remained a UK decision to do this. Now will you answer my question to you?

Our courts deemed Rwanda an unsafe country. So the Tories passed a law saying it was safe, this forcing the courts to pass judgement predicated on the new law. Yvette Cooper came in, having been duly elected and said enough, we have already p**sed away £700 million, the whole thing is cancelled.

I've been extremely busy over the past few days so not had time to look at older posts to see if this has been talked about here.
But it was on Talk TV that it was announced that 1 out of 100 people in this country is here illegally!
And that the official population of the UK now stands at over 68 million, a 10 million increase in the past decade.
These are mind-blowing figures, and why people like myself are talking about how much this country has changed.
And there is no sign of this stopping, so it's a cultural genocide happening to this country.
How is this country going to look in 30 years time?

The ECHR are unelected, but are bossing it over democratic nations. The ECHR ruled countries must meet their net zero obligations. That's none of their business. I don't trust Tory,Lab,Lib or Greens. Reform voter.

Well, if we get right. Better off economically, a properly functioning education system for our kids, a health service that delivers for everyone. That on top of a socially liberal society with a thriving Arts & Music scene. Nobody will give a toss about skin colour (hopefully all the loons will have left this earth) Faith or cultural beliefs will have been so diluted through the generations that nobody will look at you and be able to state what you are or believe in, or indeed give a toss. People then will look back at this period and what people say and will wonder "what the very f**k" As we look back Enoch Powell and the National Front now. We can only hope

You have avoided the question again, which of the human rights are you advocating changing, or is it the interpretation by judges?

Ben Wallace ,former Defence Secretary said the ECHR was becoming a "serious risk to national security".
He should know.

Ben Wallace ,former Defence Secretary said the ECHR was becoming a "serious risk to national security". He should know. A former Attorney General pointed out that it's not the ECHR causing the problem, other countries manage it and that leaving won't resolve it due to other obligations. Again I'll ask, which of those human rights are you looking to remove?

Population 2013 - 64,302,297 Population 2023 - 67,736,802 and increase of 3.4million [ www.macrotrends.net/global-metrics/countries/GBR/united-kingdom/population-growth-rate ] I appreciate that TalkTV doesn't have to be accurate as it is registered as an entertainment business not a news outlet as it would have more legislation. But it would be nice if they didn't exaggerate statistics so incorrectly Officially it is Talk (previously known as TalkTV) an opinion-orientated streaming service launched on 25 April 2022, owned and operated by News UK. The latest figures [2020] indicated by attempts at estimating the number of irregular migrants are actually lower than some similar exercises over the latest 20 years. The most accurate estimates in 2009 were a range of 417k to 863k In 2020 a similar exercise estimated 594k to 745k On a median of 669k that would represent just under 1% of the population [or 1 in 100] but in spite of promises to reduce this over the last 15 years nothing has really changed.

So .try and explain,Why Arsenal FC have on their shirts the advert "Visit Rwanda" someone/ somebody is rather confused as to what is deemed safe ,ok for visiting but not for being removed from the country and at no cost to that individual
