I think he wants to as well, at the Q&A before the last one he said he would be willing to go.

You don't have to be Einstein to prove that it does. . . . . . Wait a minute - perhaps you do.....

Who, from the existing board, you you like to see replace Mr Higgs? Here's the list: Barry Bradshaw Rodney King Ed Ware Chris Jelf Toni Watola Ken Masters Brian Seymour Smith Messrs Bradshaw, King and Watola have the experience, Messrs Masters and Seymour Smith are obviously the choice of the supporters who elect them to the board and Messrs Jelf and Ware were specifically praised by Geoff Dunford when he resigned honourably from the board last week. Given the current shareholdings, Mr Higgs owns the club. Would he want to stand aside given the equity and loans he has put in? Do you think it would send a positive signal to supporters if one of their own, like Mr Masters or Mr Seymour Smith, assumed the chair? Sack the chairman is a view but the club needs more than 'something must be done.' What, exactly? Maybe BRSC could organise a vote of their members to express their preference as to who should be chairman? Mr Seymour Smith will win the current director election by a landslide, probably by an even greater margin than the one in which he defeated David Brain. Perhaps he would be a popular choice to lead the club?

Perhaps he would be a popular choice to lead the club? As I see it the problem is that whoever is the spokesman, the news appears to be bad, so they will get slated. The Evening Post are probably only telling half the story - we don't know, for example, if the writ etc. is being used between BRFC and Sainsbury's to force BCC to agree to the delivery time changes otherwise the local economy will suffer etc. Why would bad news be more acceptable from, say, BSS than from Nick Higgs? At the Q&A the most impressive board member was Chris Jelf, but I have no idea what proportion of shares he owns and anyway if he doesn't deliver good news, why would his delivery (or in this case non-delivery) of bad news be more acceptable than Nick Higgs?

"... His credibility has gone with fans, unfortunately." Don't speak for everyone!!! Are you judging this by asking the majority of the 5,500 crowd on Saturday, or 20 odd blokes moaning constantly on a forum?

I have felt for a while that the board should reorganise into two tiers, one to handle the stadium project and the other to run the club day to day.
Surely NH fronting both elements is too much and it's time to change the existing structure

Exactly right Gaz, because a few people on here dont like or respect N Higgs, doesnt mean its true for all Gasheads. I believe the sweeping statement in Buck Rippers article has for me, distroyed his objectiveness and thus that will be the last blog I read of his!

The only serving board member who would want to take the chair would be Chris Jelf.

Even as one who has gone out on a limb to support the Chairman, my patience has now worn paper thin. I understand non-disclosure and the constraints of the legal process, but this sums it up for me... "In trying to tell Rovers fans what they want to hear and get them on his side, he’s in fact done precisely the opposite"

I always read people's posts and articles who I don't normally agree with as sometimes others can be right and you can be wrong. There is little point in using a forum if you can't or won't debate people's opinions and defend your own. You never know you might change your mind or get others to do the same. I have VOTE BRIAN!!!!!!
