Stop repeating yourself please. Not one person here has advocated "open" borders... Do you want open borders? Which part of "not one person has advocated open borders" did you not comprehend?

Apparently 12 leaders of Commonwealth countries want the King to apologise for genocide and colonisation. This as a first step to reparations.

No one has to run along. We all have opinions. And they will differ. The idea is to debate sensibly and not through insults. whether 2,000 or 200,000 asylum seekers turn up, we aren't going to stop them by insulting each other on here. Telling some one to jog along is like the 2 Brexiteers who told me to f*** off and get over myself as I lost. Yes I did lose out at Brexit but I stay to debate and fight to get back my rights. And voicing my opinion in a civil manner is one way.
If you don't like someone's opinion you can choose to ignore it. There is no need for insults from anyone to anyone else. End of. I was insulted on another thread but chose not to complain to the other admins as insults just show the other person has lost their argument and makes them look sad. If you want to debate against them bring facts and figures and don't make assumptions of what they believe. As admins we endeavour to keep it fair even if we personally disagree with another person's beliefs. That is their right. So please keep it civil. All of you.

It's estimated around £200,000,000 will be spent on food & drink this Coronation weekend. That's s alot of Victoria sponge and orange squash.
Good for business.

Massive worldwide coverage of the Coronation. It clearly lends itself to the British tourism industry.

Protester = whiner ....I saw last week that Roger Hallam leader/tosser of XR fell off his bike and was taken to hospital, inevitably Roger found something else to whine about,he's a vegetarian (surprise) and the hospitals vegetarian dish was.....vegetables, obviously not good enough for Roger so he's whining again. When you see these whiners doing a protest and blocking roads etc, stopping working people from getting on with their lives have a look at the 'protesters' sad, pathetic losers every one of them. Entitled lefty whiners seem to think that they can name call but nobody can retaliate,if anyone does give them some back the whining goes on and on,they really are pitiful.

Media saturation judging from radio 4 for the last few days,I am not a monarchist but I dislike politicians so i dont want a republic, I really dislike the anti-royalist protesters....radio off for the day.

Fantastic music at the Coronation. So glad some things are still sacred and no hip priests have got their grubby hands on the musical running order.

Looking around the news and social media this morning and Penny Mordaunt gets lots of praise for her efforts yesterday, even Alistair Campbell and Emily Thornberry giving her credit. I read that sword is 4' long and weighs 8lbs,for her to keep that upright for 2 hours (?) shows serious determination and strong core and triceps, lets face it most people couldnt stand to attention for 2 hours.
I did see a video of the protesters in Trafalgar square, sinister Peter Tatchell was there,he seems to be a professional malcontent,is there anything that he hasnt protested about? Made me wonder what would make those people happy ?if the monarchy was abolished, coal and oil banned and Brexit reversed they would still be whining, just that sort of person I suppose.

Strangely I caught a clip of Alf Garnet from "Till Death Us Do Part" recently.
Strange how humour of 1966 is (unintentionally) mimicked in 2023.

Would you prefer a terrorist to be arrested before he broke the law or afterwards when he's blown up a building killing many.

Bit of a difference between shouting and waiving a few placards and blowing people up!!
