Apparently the UK is now out of recession.
I don't suppose people will notice any difference.

Apparently the UK is now out of recession. I don't suppose people will notice any difference. It's good news. But it is not really going to effect the man on the street. The hysterical response to Covid and the consequences of war in Ukraine will take years to turn around. Tories are hanging on hoping that a small upturn in the economy will persuade voters to return for the General Election. They won't. Reform required.

The Tories are desperately trying to tell everyone what they will do, but they've had 14 years to do these things. People are well aware that it's just electioneering. The six Labour pledges are just the same as we have been hearing from Labour/Tory for the last 30 odd years. Nothing new, nothing radical, no fresh ideas, just the same old.
