That's GBH, nothing to do with the cost of living crisis, has it Of course it has...her actions have impeded his ability to work,so therefore his income will be limited and as a result the strain on him will limit his ability to purchase things he may have been able to prior to this incident... πππ What? So this thread is about the cost of living dictated by global energy prices, trade constraints and supply constraints to name but three. But you are saying this act of GBH is another causal factor.? Looking at the size of her I reckon the time it took her to get from the sofa to the front door probably meant she needed a snack ! Feel sorry for her moped. Blimey I got it wrong. She was the Deliveroo driver!!!!! Was this reported to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Mopeds (RSPCM)?

Oldie, calm down. I think this has gone over your head You think? What I read is numb nuts incapable of articulating a point No need for the name calling eh! Why do you do it? Instead of calling someone "numb nuts" why not just say "someone"? There really is no need for this is there. Maybe more people would engage on this forum if it were more civilized.

Anyway - one less person to have to deal with for a month. (Unanimous Mods decision).

Maybe more people would engage on this forum if it were more civilized. Exactly. Be polite. Agree to disagree. Find some middle ground. Be respectful. Anyway - one less person to have to deal with for a month.Β (Unanimous Mods decision).Β just get a job on the railways is the answer Avanti to pay train drivers Β£600 a shift for overtime By Michael Race Business reporters, BBC News 1 hour ago Avanti West Coast train IMAGE SOURCE, PA MEDIA Train drivers at Avanti West Coast will see their fee for an overtime shift increase by 380% following a deal between the company and union Aslef. Avanti said it hoped offering more attractive terms to its drivers to work extra shifts would make its services "more reliable and resilient". The company has faced heavy criticism in recent years over cancellations, delays and poor service. Drivers will get Β£600 for a shift, up from Β£125, in addition to their salary. The deal was struck on Thursday and will come into force on 29 March, remaining in place for 12 months, the BBC has been told. The Sunday Times, which first reported the story, suggested some drivers could enjoy a salary of up to Β£100,000 a year, but neither Aslef nor Avanti were able to confirm these figures. Last year Avanti was offered a new contract for the West Coast Main Line, which runs between London Euston and Glasgow Central, with branches to Birmingham, North Wales, Liverpool, Manchester and Edinburgh. A spokesperson for Avanti said the deal would "help ensure our services are more reliable and resilient over time for our customers, while ensuring we continue training our drivers on our brand-new trains". But the company has faced criticism over its performance, with calls for its contract to be scrapped last week. Leaders demand Avanti lose West Coast franchise Aslef general secretary Mick Whelan said Avanti did not employ enough drivers to offer the service it advertises. "The company approached us with an offer and we accepted," he added. In parliament last week, rail minister Huw Merriman said the government would not scrap Avanti's contract to run the West Coast Main Line. "There are issues that will remain regardless of who the operator is, and it is essential to get underneath the bonnet, look at the issues and fix those rather than what's on the side of the car," he said. The settlement is separate to the wider dispute between Aslef and most of England's rail companies over train drivers' pay and working conditions. All you need to know about April train strikes Leaders demand Avanti lose West Coast franchise Some 14 one-day strikes have been called during the 20-month dispute and members at 16 operators will stage further rolling one-day walk outs between 5 and 8 April, along with a six-day overtime ban. In 2021, the median salary for train drivers was Β£59,189 per year. I am looking for another dog,the price of puppies is amazing yet they still all get bought. I know that some people are struggling (there was never a time when some people werent struggling) but I think this so called 'cost of living crisis' was invented by the media/Labour party.

Sainsbury's worker sacked for not paying for bags..Hannah Mullane, Business Reporter.i2-prod.nottinghampost.com/incoming/article9231939.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/0_rom2JPG.jpgAn employee who had worked for Sainsbury's for almost 20 years has been sacked for taking some "bags for life" without paying for them. Niamke Doffou worked at the Romford Sainsbury's store as a night shift assistant. He did some personal shopping in the early morning after his night shift and clicked the "zero bags used" option on the till when he had in fact used multiple carrier bags. At an employment tribunal Mr Doffou claimed that he was unfairly dismissed, but his appeal was unsuccessful. At the end of his night shift in August 2022 Mr Doffou bought some food, bedding and pillows in advance of having friends coming to stay. The value of the shopping was Β£30. susan-robertson.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Sainsburys-Bags-Reusabag-1800x1080.jpgCCTV footage shows Mr Doffou making multiple trips to get carrier bags but his receipt shows that these bags were not paid for. He said he was tired and was unaware that he had clicked the "no bags used" button on the till, unintentionally not paying for the carrier bags. Disciplinary action was taken by Sainsbury's and Mr Doffou was sacked for the offence. The case later went to an employment tribunal and a judge ruled that Sainsbury's were within their right to sack Mr Doffou finding that he had "acted dishonestly" and "committed theft". The BBC approached Sainsbury's for comment, but the supermarket said it had nothing to add to the tribunal ruling.

Omg, We were driving along the road last year and for the first time in 35 years there was a massive bang, it was a car passing coming towards us at about 40-50mph smashing our drivers side wing mirror. The road was not a tight road with limited space, it was a bit of a shock to the Mrs, a good job the window was shut, but the mirror survived... Everything else was smashed but the mirror that was hanging on for dear life, very bizarre indeed.

Though been a bad few months as my car was hit at hospital but no idea who did it , and cameras are on exit / entry not on actual car park , so had to claim as lot of damage ( looks like they had 3 attempts at getting into parking space ) , had to pay excess etc Then came home to find fencing had we assume been reversed into ( concrete post ) & panel broke & 2 posts at 45 degrees, had to pay for that as no idea who did it Frustrating but itβs life
