It's the morning after the night before, so I thought I would give my experience of the protest from yesterday as I think I'm the only one on here that attended. So I went to watch the Gas, after the game I had a pint and got to Castle Park around 6:45pm. Reason I went yesterday was to support my country.I went on my own, I didn't want to get involved in any violence, and therefore didn't, as it's not who I am. There were a few hundred people from either side of the protests sitting around drinking and eating watching each other when I got there. It was a weird feeling as I could feel the tension in the air, and I've never experienced that feeling before in my life even at a Bristol derby. Just before 7pm a group of about 100 British lads arrived all drinking and just hanging around. Then all of sudden about 500 Antifa/Counter Marchers arrived and stood above the British group in the castle area of the park on higher ground/ steps and started throwing things like glass bottles, stones and I heard apparently bottles of piss down upon the British group. About 20 mins later another huge group of British lads arrived. That's when it all kicked off with both sides attacking each other. I guess there was anywhere between three to four thousand people there in total, it was hard to gauge. What I did noticed from the British side was there was no official protest speech to begin with.It was just a meet up at 7pm and go.. I heard a police man say to someone that the Counter demo had been at castle park from most of the day which seemed odd and, why was this I ask? Basically as it all kicked off, I noticed ( as did pretty much everyone else on the British protest side ) that we were backed into a corner, and Antifa/Counter demo were able to circle us, and they were able and... ALLOWED to throw stuff at us from the higher ground. The police pended us in for 15 mins by Bristol Bridge. The thugs from the British side looking for a fight had already made their move to Baldwin Street by then,so innocent protesters like myself where pinned in like animals while getting bricks and bottles thrown at us. Once I was finally able to leave this section, I waited around for about another 20 mins on the other end of the Bristol bridge to see what was happening. But after 20 mins it was clear that it was really just the hooligans and thugs left looking to fight, so I just left for home. ......... Points of interest to me. • The media only want to get those images/videos of the British thugs kicking off.All the main stream media cameras were 99% focused on the British side waiting for their money shots, which they were gladly given. However, the Counter protest were in terms of violence and disorder, equally at fault yesterday in Bristol. But the media just says it was far right violence which is completely un-factual. This video here for example... x.com/cez_thomas/status/1819807017927630906?t=Zc2jhlHPXjGzridAKOq6-g&s=19This clown posted the heading "hate crime in Bristol " - Sorry this person is a fool! Now I watched this black guy yesterday goading the English side for 20 mins before this with his counter demo friends. And this is the second that he got his wish, and I was sat on the wall in the background 20 yards away so saw it all. Pure lies. - I saw this with my own eyes. He wanted to fight and got it. ° Next the police. Now I've known there is a two tiered police system here for a number of years, and in particular this past month after events over here. But I witnessed it with my own eyes yesterday. A English thug was confronting a group of very heavy handed police , he said about them being a disgrace and not looking after our children, when I heard this one female officer say "we would if you weren't Facisit scum!" This was unbelievable to hear ,and it would have been captured on video as everyone was recording so I hope it's released. ° Next the Far right . Out of I would say 2,000 British protesters there, over a thousand of them were only looking for a fight. Were they far right,I don't know but at a guess yes they were. Not every hooligan is far right. There were loads of City's firm there as I must had seen 20 odd city tattoos on men, and they all new each other.I also saw some Rovers fans involved , but definitely a lot of City. Also, most of the people I spoke to or heard talk were talking were from the Bristol area.So no other factions travel there last night. ° I think we are f**ked. I can't see how this does not end in a civil war.So much hate there, like pure hate on both sides. The "right wing" if you want to call them that, are just thugs and just want to have a ruck. While Counter demo, theirs protesters had this demonic, evil look in their eyes like they were possessed.Ive never seen lefties that bad,and I've spoken my fair share of s**t on lefties on here. ° Lastly...There is NO way that Keir Starmer will be in office in 6 months time.He called a declaration of war on the British natives a few days ago.Thats a treasonous act in my view.He will go down as the most unpopular prime minister of all time, and he has done that in one month. There will be a vote of no confidence.

It's the complete opposite of course.

It's the complete opposite of course. Labelling Britons, that justifiably have concerns regarding immigration and Islam racists, is not only unhelpful but also not correct. Genuine concerns need addressing. Blair and his close colleagues have a lot to answer for. Our current PM made money from the immigration industry too. I think Ice gave a constructive and honest report on his experience and from his point of view. His voice is worth listening to. He certainly had a better view of the protests than someone enjoying the Gloucestershire countryside.

Maybe there were passionate and proud Britons on both sides. Surely we all want similar things in life.

Maybe there were passionate and proud Britons on both sides. Surely we all want similar things in life. I am not sure that is true Baldrick. From what I have seen I certainly do not share a vision for my country with that small minority of thugs. Thugs who set fire to buildings and businesses they have looted, thugs who attack our police force and injure them badly enough they require hospitalisation, thugs who hijack the grief of families who have just had their children murdered. These people have no place in a civilised, democratic, society.

Maybe there were passionate and proud Britons on both sides. Surely we all want similar things in life. I just had a chat with a bloke that popped down the park,to relax and enjoy a spliff. He had no idea about protests and counter protests. He asked a Policeman what's going on?The Copper said something about 'that lot are into the flag and that lot are not'. He said the 'not into the flag ' lot looked pretty wild and the flag lot not aggressive too. Both sides thoroughly disliked the Police. This bloke seems to of made the decision to take no interest in politics what so ever.Just try and appreciate lifes gifts. I have to say i quite like his style. There was a touch of Dylan off the Magic Roundabout about him.

Thing is ice, every single 'protest' has ended in violence and damage to property. Were people who are opposed to violence (smashing up libraries, community centres, shops, cars, mosques etc) just supposed to sit off and allow it to happen in Bristol too ? What would have happened to the hotel if it hadn't been surrounded by counter protesters ? Labour have been in government for one month, the Tories had 14 years. What would Sunak/Johnson/May/Major/Thatcher have been saying differently about this ? There's nothing peaceful about these protests at all, they're organised riots. Now think about any non white friend you may have known and how they might expect to be feeling about even leaving their house right now. You've been conned into believing that poverty, crime, waiting lists, inflation, unemployment, housing shortages and inequality are due to non whites. Disorder at football matches is treated far, far harsher than how this has being dealt with so far. Are we expected to just allow it to carry on because of some vague idea about British identity? Where would your sympathies lie had one of your grandparents been born elsewhere and your skin a darker tone ? It's racism ice, dressed up to be something else, and Yaxley Lennon on his sunbed in Spain is laughing his tits off as some of those who did his work last night will be having their doors put in this morning x.com/supertanskiii/status/1819880615853859318?t=3-GMDMzqN_AbPAu-PTioJA&s=19x.com/WokeyMcWokefac3/status/1819882089275142618?t=3-GMDMzqN_AbPAu-PTioJA&s=19

So attending a demonstration where it is highly anticipated that there will be violent disorder is supporting your country? It's the complete opposite of course. Labelling Britons, that justifiably have concerns regarding immigration and Islam racists, is not only unhelpful but also not correct. Genuine concerns need addressing. Blair and his close colleagues have a lot to answer for. Our current PM made money from the immigration industry too. I think Ice gave a constructive and honest report on his experience and from his point of view. His voice is worth listening to. He certainly had a better view of the protests than someone enjoying the Gloucestershire countryside. And thats why I can't be arsed with his arrogant, shenanigans today. He lives in a bubble, and doesn't seem to see the complete change in the base foundation of our British culture, or will just dismiss it as racist, or far right, by then quoting the Bible with an "Oh Jesus" , or a "God lord" to try to besmirch you with an attempt of showing emotion. Two days ago I was on the bus home to east Bristol as Ive not got a car at the moment. The bus was full, both levels.I was one of only 3 English White people that I counted on it.. I didn't do that evaluation or arithmetic based on racism, I did it based on how I felt like a foreigner in my own City, my OWN country! Many people feel the same.Thats happened in 20 years, it's the Tony Blair Legacy.

Were the armed Muslim gangs/s actually unchallenged by the Police? What weapons were they armed with? Can't see any Muslim gangs in the above photographs. The people holding stones and bricks and hurling beer casks don't appear to be Muslim, or am I missing something? Are they converts?

Nothing equals out in my eyes. Both offences count and are both abhorrent.

I'm sure this isn't of any interest but thought I'd put it out anyway. From ONS:
Our International migration, England and Wales: Census 2021 bulletin showed that of the 10.0 million non-UK-born residents, 4.2 million (42.4%) had reported their most recent arrival in 2011 or after. The largest group of these were born in the Middle East and Asia (1.3 million, 30%), with other substantial groups being the EU14 (713,000, 17%), EU2 (565,000, 13%), EU8 (550,000, 13%) and Africa (464,000, 11%). England and Wales both show similar trends here, with the majority of those recent arrivals to Wales also born in the Middle East and Asia (29,000, 32%).

Bas, remind me who has been in power the last 14 years and raised legal immigration to record levels? The Tories not Labour. It is Tories that have been running this country down by siphoning off money to their constituencies, friends and donors. It is Tories that have deprived councils of cash. Have a moan but don't be blinded to where blame lays.
