Hmm.Sounds as if your Crohn may of become active Julian.Yes,get help asap. By coincidence mine has just started playing up abit, but I can usually sort that myself. I have always found it seasonal my friend. I find Springtime the worst but I found this out but after my diagnosis. I am positive o was suffering from it for at least 5/7 years prior but kept going by the reactions, or lack of, when I got the courage to talk about it, openly and hoping someone may give me some good advice but , what I did get was laughing, called a hypochondriac and much worse and so I just stopped talking. This ended up and this is the kicker here, is that I awoke in a bed covered in blood and in hospital and our opponents were Shrewsbury, in the play off final. I do sometimes wonder if our body has its own kind of RAM inbuilt memory and that we have certain trigger points. As I write, I am starting to feel a fever building and I have called 101. They told me they will try to contact one of the IBD specialist nurses. Man to man, I feel really very unwell and attempting to engage with others at least takes my mind off it, for that period where I am reading or writing on things that interest me. Thanks again fella. I have a horrible feeling that I will be in hospital, either today or tomorrow as the pain in just too much to disregard and I daren’t take any prednisolone as that would mess up all and any blood tests and I would have to wait around 7/10 days to get a true reflection of the level of inflammation The good lady informs me that my eyes are bloodshot and that I look drunk. I am so very grateful that , at least, I have her to give me an unbiased opinion As I previously said, I just have an horrid feeling that there is more to this than just the IBD. I am not scared but I do get , and have an healthy respect for pain and I am in great pain. My own view, based upon 15 years from diagnosis, is either fistula or the C word. At best I think I am looking at toxic megacolon and, at worst, a growth. My entire male side of the family and extended family is rife with growths, tumours and strokes and so I kind of automatically think of that when I get pain. Saying all of that, I have NEVER EVER known such pain , down to the IBD. My apologies to others reading this interruption as I really do not wish to make this about me. I just find it a little more comforting when talking to someone else who had it. I have no been web searching as it would only give me the fear. I just have to hope it’s nowhere near what I believe it to be. My next option is fentanyl but I have to wait for my wonderful woman to be here, IF I go that route. I will not be posting if that happens as I write enough crap as it is 🤣🤣. My lady has many such texts, that I have tried to write while high on it. I can laugh now but reading it is the stuff of fantasy and in a language only the departed could possibly decipher. Take care mate. I will go to PM if there is need to reply. Believe it or not, I do make a big effort not to write about my own and not insignificant problems as, let’s face it, the majority do not wish to read it and I do understand Kind regards Julian S Pirog It sounds like a 999 call to me Julian. An active Crohn on top of your other illnesses.999 mate.Of course, you have to wait abit. Last time mine was bad I had ten days in hospital. 999.

You should definitely get yourself checked out a.s.a.p., especially if you suspect that there may be a growth. I made the mistake of dismissing my mild symptoms for over 6 months, when they increased I finally went to GP - was fast tracked, but the C had already spread to other parts of my body. Hopefull it's not that for you, however, do get checked out mate, you have enough to deal with as it is, don't want anything else added on. Best wishes, and take care.

Thank you for this as it pushed me to get an appointment for tomorrow. I am told i am very lucky as this doctor rarely does weekends but it’s his turn to be on call and he is the rheumatology specialist and he deals with the exotic and rare diseases. I don’t think I’d have done this if not for your post. I started to feel a little better around 15~00 but then waned again and feel absolute fatigue yet cannot sleep

Bristol Rovers midfielder Jordan Rossiter has been banned for three matches for violent conduct. It follows a challenge made by Rossiter on Shrewsbury's Tom Bayliss in the 32nd minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw. The incident was not seen by match officials but the 25-year-old admitted a Football Association charge. Rossiter joined Rovers in June from boss Joey Barton's former club Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee and has made six appearances so far. He will miss Saturday's home League One game against Morecambe followed by trips to MK Dons and Ipswich. It is a further blow to Barton, having lost defender James Connolly for a "long period" because of a stress fracture in his back. ichef.bbci.co.uk/onesport/cps/800/cpsprodpb/2CA0/production/_126542411_shutterstock_editorial_13353379ax.jpg

Utterly appalling. No need to do that in any circumstance whatsoever and likely would have cost us the point we did get if spotted by the match officials at the time. Isn’t that his second suspension this season? Would be better for everyone if he focussed on his performances on the pitch rather than trying to seriously injure someone in a really sly and underhand way. Will be interesting to see how Barton deals with this

Must be missing something here. 1) What has Trevor Clarke got to do with this 2) Trevor Clarke has actually been quite positive about the interactions he's had with Joey Barton 3) You know that Rossiter held his hands up? There's nothing for Joey Barton to do, other than plan for at least 3 games without him. Still, any excuse for a dig eh?

Will be interesting to see how Barton deals with this It would certainly be interesting, not least because Barton spent his whole playing career doing stuff like this. Fleetwood - who Rossiter used to captain and JB used to manage - were also notorious for this kind of stuff. Rossiter would simply need to point this out and JB would be - mercifully and surely for the first time in recorded human history - lost for words.

And yet you somehow missed Rossiter's post-event reaction, which suggests he is fully aware that he has stupidly led with an elbow and expects to get sent off? I saw Pulis end the career of one Teddy Maybank of Fulham, and Robbie Pethick claimed Holloway scapegoated him over failure to get promoted. It happens.
