I want to be positive but I think realistically The Cobblers are in the box seats on this one, shoe'd in maybe We were convinced that our neighbour was a Cleft Toe Maniac, as he kept stealing flip flops.

Top 3 finish: (April 24th) UPDATED May 1st Updated May 3rd FGR promoted FGR promoted FGR promoted Exeter 1-100 Exeter promoted Exeter promoted Northampton 5-4 (1.25) 7-5 (1.4) 4-7 Port Vale 11-4 (2.75) 10-3 (3.333) 40-1 Rovers 5-1 (5) 15-8 (1.875) 13-8 Mansfield 8-1 (8) 10-3 (3.333) 25-1 Sutton 25-1 500-1 na Swindon 175-1 225-1 200-1 Newport 500-1 na na Salford 500-1 na na Tranmere 500-1 na na Rovers were as wide as 40-1 as recently as 22nd Feb. At this point I would have to congratulate baselswh for his belief that the team were capable of going on a run and making the play-offs. He was pretty much a lone voice. I thought at the time he was insane. (I still do ). He was right though. Thank you Epping.👍 From the start of the season I believed we would challenge.🙂

Phil Brown could enter into Rovers folklore if Barrow pull off a result, plus 2008 (Hull City)
Philip Brown, mi Lord, Philip Brown. Oh Lord, Philip Brown.

Some more of us since late January have been predicting a top 7, or 3 finish, in more optimistic moments. As for betting odds, they still perplex me, as have no clue about gambling. For example, why are there ever odds on BCFC getting to the Premiership? Pointless exercise. On to Saturday, if we can repeat the 37 or so shots on goal we had against Dagenham and Redbridge, then Northampton will finish 4th. UTFG. 🏴☠️ Yes, You and basel have been consistent and fair play for that

Winning at Walsall would give Swindon the better goal difference than any side on 77. That would merely be a Northampton loss and Vale and Mansfield not winning, all three results very possible. I expect Swindon to improve from 7th on final day, leaving 4th place side a difficult 2 league play off likely against Port Vale, with Mansfield waiting in final. I have rovers odds better for promotion on Saturday morning, than Saturday evening if we finish 4th. I think we have much better than 50/50 chance of going up this Saturday, I would move it back to 50/50 with two toss up playoff ties to get through.

I was listening to Cloughie doing an interview earlier and he reckons that Barrow is an extremely difficult place to ' go to ' , he has us in the box seats for league one which is awfully nice of him as I think playing his team over two legs would be a tad tricky.

He is very good at playing mind games so don’t pay too much attention to him. There are so many variables this Saturday

It is a shame that we are not facing up to the cobblers for the last game now, I think that I would of fancied our chances a little more than I do at the moment if that had been the case. Oh well, let’s hope we can pop seven past Scunny, that might do it !

Long story short - first week of Jan we were 18th and I put £20 on a Gas Promotion at 20/1. My mate that put the bet on for me asked to go halfers as the cashout started to rise. So we had a tenner each on and I won £200 on Saturday. I just sent a personal tweet to Josh Kay, the Barrow player that scored on Saturday, to add £20 to his golf holiday fund. Well he has saved me a fortune should a Wemberley trip occurred. #UTG.
