Can't say I'm keen on the Sex Pistols and Carter ( Pistols,but not with Rotten ). Looks good fun and audiences have given good reviews but for me,clearly John Rotten should hold the mic,or it ain't the Pistols. This current effort looks a bit like a tribute act.Yuk! I am a massive Sex Pistols fan and seen them at the IOW Festival in 2008, the rift between JL and the others in now at the Grand Canyon stage, which is a shame. I have seen the Live at Bush Hall, London 15th August-2024 youtube gig, Frank Carter gives it his all, but of course it's not the same... Here are a few more to enjoy

London, ForumIt's like a singalong with Paul,Glen and Steve. Seems wrong. Did i tell you I played in a band that played a couple of gigs with The Avengers? They were the support band to Pistols "ever had the feeling you've been cheated" gig. Penelope Houston ( singer Avengers) gave me her review of the night. The American In Me by The Avengers for todays choice. |
