while we're on the subject, I just had a google and found another..
;“Honestly, I think I’m the best [English midfielder]. Luka Modric and Samir Nasri are very good, but in terms of English players, well, Jack Wilshere isn’t bad, but Frank Lampard’s on the way down and Steven Gerrard’s been injured a lot.”

Apart from the morons I mentioned earlier,(who were passing around what I presume were drugs, one of them tried to scramble onto the small scaffold and netting over the segregated seats but fortunately landed on his head(shocking lengthy use of parenthesis)). I really enjoyed that.
We were decent on the front foot, result aside we did to them what they did to use at the mem. So if you didn't go today I think that's a pretty good summing up of our performance. I can't recall a time when we looked so accomplished in the middle of the park. The only negative was Loft, hopefully he improves, because apart from keeping one centre back busy he didn't show anything. If we had started with Leon I think we would have taken 3 points, but he wont be 100% quite yet.
If we play like that for rest of season we will make the playoffs.

Pitman put himself about more, in the three minutes he was on the pitch.

We have played Swindon Town in 101 games, Winning 38, Losing 47 with 16 Draws. Swindon's only season in the prem was in 1993-4, finished bottom and conceded exactly 100 goals. That season in the prem they had Steve White & Andy Thomson in the squad. They have won the league cup in 1969, beating Arsenal 3-1, Bobby Gould scored for the Gunners. Swindon's main rivals are Oxford, with less fierce enemies in both Bristol clubs, Reading, Cheltenham & Newport. Ben Garner and Steve Mildenhall were previous employees of BRFC, with the goalkeeper playing over 100 games. John Trollope played all his career for Swindon in 889 games spanning 20 seasons, a record never to be beaten IMO. [br A bit regards the amount of games played.. Terry Paine of Southampton, played over 800 games in 18 seasons for the Saints Terry Paine played in 808 games for the Saints scoring 183 goals as a forward, Terry is 82 years old and still going strong. Terry also played 19 games for England scoring 7 times from 1963-66 and was in the 1966 World Cup squad, played v Mexico.

I saw Terry Paine play for Hereford at Eastville 1976/77 in the old 2nd division. Hereford won 3-2, which was the half-time score

1-1 FT upside - Rovers get an away point against 4th in the table downside - Joeybag unable to beat a rookie manager who had 8 players a couple of weeks before the start of the season Yawn. A great point away from home again of the best teams in the division.

Yawn. A great point away from home again of the best teams in the division. I thought you were going to ignore me. You could at least be a man of your word Do you have a life? Great result, outplayed them and getting the full squad back to fitness. OK, Barton has to take responsibility for last season and for training methods that gave us injury issues. Conversely, he needs to be given the plaudits for getting a squad playing consistently good football and having a togetherness we haven't seen for years. Anyone who denies that a) is churlish and b) doesn't actually watch Rovers.

I regret that you've abandoned it

An enjoyable game that the useless ref did his best to spoil. Booking our players then doing nothing when Swindon players committed the same fouls. And what about that diving, cheating little twat Williams? I’ve never been to Swindon before. My God,What an absolute s**thole. Do people actually feel happy living there?

Ha!
Having just seen a clip of a couple of highlights I really don't know who scored our goal.
It does look like it went straight in from Finley, but,Taylor could of got the slightest of touches.
Maybe other camera angles will tell us.🙂

To be fair TG,Diana Dors was a Swindon girl.👍

Of course people living in Swindon are happy. They're happy just to be in Wiltshire. And we're keeping them there because it looks a bit funny on the map with the NE corner cut off, like an old passport.
