To use a cricket analogy, Sainsbury's have been out there batting and we've have a pretty good day in the field, but it's very difficult to tell how it's going to end until you see how well we bat.

It appears one-sided because so far it's only been Rovers doing the cross-examining.

Billy, have you any ideas when the Rovers blokes will be called for questioning please? No idea, sorry. He was clearly time limited today as he kept trying to speed things up and move on to his other points I might go back again Monday as I'm disappointed with myself for not giving it an COME ON THE GAS! as we filed out at lunchtime

Perhaps you need to call Wembley direct for info, unless Rovers or Grimsby eventually put something on their websites? As far as the attendence given the Conference tweeted earlier in the week over 42,000 tickets have been sold this latest figure makes no sense. I think the difference is the 7,000 vouchers they sold in advance 26 + 12 + 7 = 45 the 42 would have also included this 7 and has now gone up by 3

Yes, you don't get to choose the block, just which team why can I find no details online? Look at @conferencefooty on Twitter West ticket office for rovers fans on the day. Not sure what time it opens

I think the difference is 7,000 voucher sales + sales on the day (0-5,000). A lot of the voucher sales will be GTFC and BRFC, probably in same ratio. Not sure that there will be that many actual neutral fans

Cheers Billy, decent account of the events so far, you say you had to get back to work, is a new album on the horizon then? Always been a fan and used to serenade 'love really hurts without you' to the wife, then i took the decision to marry the woman....... Yes, back in the studio. Remake of When the Going Gets Tough. Very apt.

Hi all, Does anyone know the address of where court proceedings are taking place? I know nothing about the High Court and it seems it has three different divisions to it? High Court website
Thank you in advance, Antony It's in the New Rolls Building off Fetter Lane EC4A 1NL. Second floor, court 17, in the far corner - go left at top of stairs

Spent an hour in the high court earlier sat directly behind Higgs and Watola 1 row back. Only about 10 people watching, some journos and some randoms (inc me!) Whilst I was there it was all the Sainsbury’s (JS) finance guy (presumably one or two rungs below the CFO) being cross-examined by the Rovers counsel (David Matthias).
There were 30 large ring binders of emails and documents being referred to, most of what I was listening to was communication internally at JS and JS meeting minutes. It looked like about 90% of the documents were blacked out (redacted) and Matthias said he had never worked on a case before with so much redaction.
There was a lot of questions on JS decision making from 2012-2013. They had a “hurdle” of 12% ROCE (return on capital employed) and the Horfield project was only projected to hit 9% and that meant it wasn’t viable. They planned to
1. purchase and sell on – inc sell to a competitor;
2. purchase and build a smaller store and sell the remainder of the land on for business or residential
3. or pull out completely
and there were concerns about the reputational risk that would result from pulling out - I assume by pulling out this meant not honouring the contract and getting taken to court. The words JS used on pulling out were vague – e.g. reputational risk of withdrawal but without qualifying what withdrawal meant.
The guy being cross-examined recommended to the pipeline meeting to keep the project alive in 2012 (I think) but his recommendation wasn’t taken.
There was also some stuff on the delivery restrictions and evidence that JS always knew about the restrictions and that they came as no surprise and had always been factored in to the decision making from the very start.
Also something about the CFO saying that they should “squeeze sell to a competitor”. This was all a bit vague. The guy was asked what they meant by squeeze and he didn’t know.
When the emails/meetings moved on to 2013, the language had changed and there was no longer any talk of being bound by contract.
I think that’s all I can remember. Couldn’t stay any longer as had to get back to work!

Hearing delayed no reason given or new date according to ep **ALIENS HAVE LANDED ON THE DOWNS** See whether the Post prints that one. They seem to get most of their Rovers stories from this forum! btw the Chancery Division - Judges daily cause list has not updated to show tomorrow's cases yet. Daily court list should get updated before 5pm today for tomorrow's hearings. No idea how the Ukuleles got on yesterday

Anyone heading for pubs near Marylebone station? Sports Bar on Melcombe Place is handy. Overground from Marylebone is only 13 mins to Wembley Stadium station.

Here is how to get tonight's BBC commentary on an Iphone or Ipad. I just tested it again on an Iphone and it works fine. Here is a quick guide. 1. Install FStream (free) from the App Store 2. Run FStream and go to "Favorites" 3. Delete what's listed in there 4. "Add new webradio" 5. Give it the "Name" you want, in "URL" type www.bbc.co.uk/englandcms/livestreams/int16.asx then "Save" it. 6. Go to "Play" and hit play button at top. It will play the feed and currently you will hear a "Not Available" announcement. This is normal as the broadcast hasn't started yet. That will work. Any issues, let me know. I've just done it myself. Cheers, Antony As per Antony's instructions, this definitely works on iPhone. Have used it a lot albeit with Tunein Radio not FStream. On tunein, just tap add new custom url and paste the www.bbc.co.uk/englandcms/livestreams/int16.asx address above
