Both times Tom Davies said a goal was coming, we scored 30 secs later... Hanlon MOTM I thought his commentary (and insight) was very good. It's HanlAn BTW. (I had to look it up and double check). UP THE GAS! Yeah agree, his commentary, aside from calling us Bristol, was good... Some encouraging performances today I thought, Hanlan, Daly and Tutonda all did well

John Ward was York City's manager before coming to us. We have a track record of also ending managerial careers

Some managers may get a little longer to turn things around this season as club owners usually act when attendances fall

Any replacement would be in the BG mould (someone with youth/academy experience at the top level)...most likely his number 2 Jack

I won a competition at school to get free tickets to a game and a guided tour of Eastville. I still remember Gordon giving us the tour and saying next is the trophy room this won't take long

Too many have already made up their minds and aren't willing to give BG a clean slate this season. Once it became fairly obvious we weren't going up or down last season, it was all about planning for this season and seeing which players suited/didn't suit the new style of play under BG. Therefore we lost some games as a result. Too many couldn't see the 'bigger picture' and what BG was attempting to put in place. I genuinely think a few want him to fail as they have been so vocal in their criticism of BG.

Liked how Garner tweaked the formation when we were looking vulnerable and ultimately got us something from the game... DC rolls the dice and risks losing the game in pursuit of the victory whereas BG is more pragmatic and sees the value of not getting beat Hence: Darrell Clarke win percentage 45.7% Ben Garner win percentage 10.53% Give the bloke a chance, it's a new season, new players and a new system

Garner has said sunderland were very good on the day. Sunderland supporters have said that they were poor. Perhaps garner should have been a politician. Players take notice of what their manager says and talking up the opposition is a tatic used by managers to give his players greater confidence.

Seems like we now have coaches who can coach. Not sure we've always had that

Tom Nichols telling the Crawley interviewer he is a "fox in the box type player" and "likes to score goals" lying little toerag. Bit tough calling him a toerag. A fox in the box he ain't. He was never mentally strong enough and you could see he avoided getting into the positions to score if he'd missed a chance or 2 earlier in the game as he didn't want the responsibility. His mental weakness was apparent when after being booed by Peterborough fans he wanted to leave

If they play Nicholls just behind the striker(s) they've got a player How far behind? In goal? Probably score more.. 🙂 His game isn't about scoring goals and that's where we went wrong with him. He never got into the right positions to get his shot away and was therefore never going to score in the numbers we all probably envisaged when he signed. He is however a creative player who can read the game and set up others to score. Probably a luxury player to play behind the striker(s) at League 2 level so they'll probably play him further forward

Getting a season ticket is if nothing else a show of support to the club we all love and the cost (if it can be afforded) is a comparative drop in the ocean compared to the amount Wael has ploughed in. That said I respect the fact that the cost is higher than some can afford, particularly right now and therefore the show of support has to be demonstrated in other ways

I doubt either party is being completely honest and the truth is somewhere in between. The fact someone has been found guilty doesn't mean the individual did indeed do what he/she has been accused of and we have many examples of accounts being embellished to fit the crime. That said Gary Cahill for 2 seasons on a free was a better option than paying 85M for Harry Maguire

Off to Peterborough...As disappointed as I am, this was all done in the right way...Now it's about who we can get in and I'm sure we have planned for this
