So they must have given out more raffle tickets than there were away tickets? You couldn't make it up!

Gurnam Singh - who never wore a turban - was the first Asian to take charge of a League fixture in Britain in 1989. So he never refereed at Eastville and neither did any other Asian, in a turban or not. My memory may be failing me but did he send off rob trees and Jason Roberts in the same game vs gillingham at the mem? Seem to remember someone sent a poem about it into radio Bristol after the game, or maybe I dreamt it....

The ref today was a complete joke. The worst i have ever witnessed in a football match. He managed to get most of the easy decisions wrong, gave random corners (admitedly to us) when it was clearly a goal kick. The worst as previously stated was when Taylor was through on goal around 70 minutes in and then centre back had both hands on his shirt pulling him back plain as day. Everybody saw it but the ref. Harrison should of been sent off though so I guess i cant moan too much! Sadly he was about average for this season, there have been a few worse including as mentioned above Halifax away.

I wouldn't have him in the ground. Our mayor is a buffoon who is bit by bit destroying Bristol. strongly disagree, future mayors will have a much easier ride as a result of the unpopular but right decisions George has taken. Rather him than a puppet taking orders from London.

14 corners in the 1st 25 minutes, sounds entertaining!

don't think she will even get anywhere near that as he didn't have a pot to piss in until after they divorced?

seems to me if dc had an issue he would have said something, however bottom line is, (pun wasn't intended but noticed and left it in) that he would have to be nuts not to take him. Also looking at dc's comments post match looks like he was hopeful of a signing and have to assume that was lines.

were you there for the second half? sadly harrison showed us what he could do. Yes I was there on Saturday. And again on Tuesday. Harrison Dawson changed the game when he came on. We looked the poorer side (against 10 part-timers) until the later changes were made. Superb finish from Harrison after a great flick on from Matty Taylor. Thankfully it was that way round else it could well have stayed 1-1 :-) Ugly win - but I'll take that. UTG! Corrected that for you, as for superb finish, he would have rightly been slaughtered for missing it. I like Harrison and want him to do well but he has to start producing on a regular basis. He was poor on Saturday and take away the goal Tuesday people would have been on here saying he had a stinker.

Taylor is out with couldnthitabarndooritis. Not sure if there is a cure. He's a good squad player who has had ample chances to prove himself in front of goal - failed. A chance for Harrison to show what he can do. were you there for the second half? sadly harrison showed us what he could do.

I reckon the ref was about average when compared to the rest we have had this season.
Think 4 is about right.

Please can someone answer the Questions below ASAP?How Long Have You Supported Bristol Rovers? basically from birth but think my first game was around 88/89 Last Season's League Finish? 2nd bottom! What Do You Think Of Your Manager? DC is young and enthusiastic whilst being realistic and managing expectations in a non-patronizing way. Are you performing in line with your hopes/expectations this season? I hoped we would be chalenging for promotion so yes, after a shaky start things have been better than i expected, history tells us getting promoted straight away from this league is rare, i think carlisle were the last to do it 10 years ago? One(s) To Watch? sinclair but he is out injurred so look out for matty taylor up front, decent striker at this level. Has the general feeling by fans towards the Board after relegation now improved? the initial anger has eased but to be honest the relegation was the latest in a long line of failures at board level, we are pretty much used to it now. Jermaine Easter. On paper, the type of signing that doesn't generally work at this level. How do you feel about the signing? will tell you when he has had a run in the team, his last goal was against norwich in the championship over the festive period so you would hope he can have an impact at this level! This years Conference is generally being described as the worst for a number of years (certainly the worst in the four years we've been down here). How have you found the quality? the quality of play doesnt seem much different to league 2 for me with the occasional exception such as nuneaton. The real shock has been the officials, farcical every week. Top Five Predictions? barnet rovers macclesfield grimsby eastleigh Bottom Four Predictions? alfreton dartford nuneaton telford Thoughts on Lincoln City? bloody cold away days, and the cracking 2 legged playoff match in 07 Score Prediction? 3 1 gas Random Fact About Your Club?

great memories on this thread, thanks!
I can only add to it by mentioning what a top bloke he was, remember being in the bar of the centenary stand when it seemed clear he was going having a chat with him, had nothing but good things to say.
