I was expecting a Donate button at the bottom. I was expecting a "detonate" button at the bottom. Which would be more in line with the current Souse revolution. But there was no mention of the manager, or his back up team. No mention. At all. So, a well written piece. But with a very obvious omission IMHO. I read it as a statement that was addressing the new ESL and was void of anything that gave any hints on how the club is to be run, going forward. What we got is that we will give you more news, in the coming weeks. Sorry if some see it as anti Wael but it did not say anything about handing footballing affairs over to Joseph.

Blades are out willrog What a quandary it is, say nothing, say what you don’t really believe in order to be nice or say what you think and upset people. Rich Mace says he cannot complain or disagree with anything said in the letter and most fans probably feel exactly the same way but isn’t what is not said also important ? Maybe I’m in a minority of one but I think much more is needed and should be expected from a leader of a professional football club. Wael is wearing his heart on his sleeve but his head must be in turmoil. He has chosen to say absolutely nothing about some very important issues which have arisen in the past week which is not a wise move because IMO avoiding issues like this won’t make them go away but will increase the chances of negative outcomes. Would anyone like to explain or justify why no mention was made of ; The manager’s damning condemnation of the off field innovations, medical specialists, fitness specialists, recruitment specialists etc, which Wael has previously taken credit for ? The mandate B***** says he has been given to completely restructure the club and to dismiss some of the senior employees he holds responsible for the mess ? The drastic change to the club house plans which were not announced by the club but leaked out and which mean it will be well into next season before the facility can be used ? You are correct by saying there are lot of critical points that were not covered by the recent open letter.
The fact that the manager is being highly critical in public of the footballing fundamentals of Wael's club WITHOUT a corresponding comment from Wael (i.e. JB is acting on Wael's behalf) is very odd. If Wael had initiated a root and branch overhaul of the club and appointed JB to oversee that, then he would be applauded for doing so.
There appears to be a public disconnect between manager and owner. I cannot see how that would end well.
Wael does not reference the manager once. This is very odd. This is the manager that has publicly criticized pretty much everything that Wael has done over the the last 5 years. I can't decide whether I'm witnessing a soap opera or a very slow motion car crash. Or perhaps a Greek tragedy. Perhaps it's a smattering of all 3.

You do have many nice people who get things completely wrong. I believe that if/Wael gets serious then he will be in this country, much more often and would be, want to be, involved with every important decision.

Correct me if I am wrong. The letter refers to the loan, which we did not apply for because of conditions attached. I recall there was a non returnable grant/gift made to all T2 T3 clubs which I expect we took. So what's wrong? What's wrong is emphasis on not taking up the loan but not mentioning the grant. No wonder we are haemorrhaging circa £3m PA if he's not able to keep track of sums such as £375k plus another sum on top of that based on attendances.

The Al Qadi’s have been a total and utter disaster for my club from the day the grinning loons walked through the door. Five years of mis managed decline, all the goodwill of the double promotion frittered away. A two faced, dishonest bunch of charlatans. I wouldn’t blame Joey B***** for leaving. Who in Earth would want to work for an utter bunch of clowns like this lot? I have gone past caring to be honest. My first game in 1974 and Mr ‘Evolution not Revolution’ has extinguished any passion I have ever had for BRFC. I wish he’d just F off.

Right, so Wael has appointed his own Director to communicate with supporters' groups. What happened to the Share Scheme positions?
Nice to see that whoever wrote that didn't miss the opportunity of heaping praise on Wael for meeting the commitment that was signed in the accounts, namely to fund the club for a period.
Seriously Wael, if it becomes a burden just do as grown ups do, accept that you've made a massive mess of things and hand our club over to new owners, accept your losses and move on. Not many people will miss you. Take B***** with you.

They are a narrow minded bunch who don’t like opinions that are critical of the ownership. I expect I’ll be banned before not too long. I was told that this place was much more accepting of that kind of thing. So here I am.

I’m just about under 60, happy days.

It's a joke. This board is split between people who support Wael and those who don't. Say what you think, see where the conversation goes, but there's no point crying foul if you put forward a robust argument and get the same back. Enjoy.
