I am encouraged by Tisdale signing an experienced ex-cronie and especially as they didn't appear to want him to go. The local MK article is being mischievous by saying he has a lucrative deal with Rovers, jealousy, who cares. It gives us better balance and a chance for Ehmer to play in a 3 at the back possibly. Now we can bin Little. I would just play Hare if he is fit. Hares assist and goal threat at this level is good enough for me. I don’t like this idea of him gazzumped by another Tis type player. i don’t like Tis choice of player, Upson, Leahy etc. They make too many mistakes for me. I also don’t know why some of you rave about Nicholson. Agree with Hare comments. Kinda see what you're saying about Upson and Leahy....I agree with Mango on that. Nicholson disagree, I think he's potentially a match winner and one of the few players in our squad that could play at a higher level. I place trust in manager, even though it's early days and some of the selections have been baffling to me. One crazy defence mistake less on Tuesday, and one less freak goal from corner last Saturday and we'd be 2 goals better off and on an unbeaten run.. It's fine margins, but all players mentioned have made positive impacts this season - albeit with a consistency more desired.

Given we are playing wingbacks was this the right signing? Given we have, Little, Hare, Rodman, Ehmer and maybe Hoole who could play RWB.
Or will we get back to playing four at the back?

Obviously its early days, but he looks more like a full-back than a wing-back to me. Most of his passes were backwards and when the ball was crossed in for Leahy to score it was Ehmer, the right centre-back who delivered it. (Shades of Sheffield United's centre-backs?) Personally I hope we go back to a back four, and maybe that is why he was brought in.

I think it was, providing we resort to playing a back four in the future. Little’s injured too often to rely on, Hare’s not good enough defensively, Rodman and Ehmer’s best positions lie elsewhere. Williams has come in and done a decent job so far, had no complaints with his performance on Saturday. We probably do have too many RB/RWB’s on the books now which will have to be rectified in the summer.

Don’t we need our traditional deadline day excitement thread? Where else can I report I saw a Heron in the garden over the weekend?

Looks like Grimsby are getting their Conference squad back together, seems a bit of a panic signing. And we all about those types! UTG!

With a blob of jam? hopefully both are home made and strawberry being the favourite , and when TRANSFERRED from the jar to the bowl of rice, that will more than likely be the end of any transfer movement here
