are we great fans or mugs? loyal or stupid? All four I would guess. Can't really do much about it though. Rovers are with us for life no matter what level they play at.

Thought it was a good game too but he is entitled to his opinion.

Cheers for letting us know about the kids offer, even with that though 7,000 is an excellent effort. Just checked GTFC website, apparently we took 452 in total. And Crazytrain I understand what you mean, but deffo a heads up for you guys; you will have a lot of very low away gates! It is what I find most depressing about this level. Once again best for the season and look forward to seeing you in Feb. Mariner,Can you recommend anywhere to eat fairly near to your ground ? also any pubs that we should ( or should not ) visit ? I'd say best to use the collection of pubs outside Cleethorpes train station on Isaac's Hill. Walkable to the ground but I'll be getting a cab as I'll have a 5yr old with me.

Oh, and if you like Fish n chips, Cleethorpes offers plenty. For the philistines there is a McDonalds right outside the ground!!

Just to add to this: - Only 4 teams in Scotland with a higher attendance, over the weekend. - 4,511 higher than the next biggest gate in our division. - 5,544 more than the average crowd of all the other games in the conference (that's 4.75 times as many). - Higher than the whole of the 4th tier (League 2). - 2640 more than the average in the 4th tier. - More than 4 teams in the 3rd tier (and only 41 fewer than 1 team town Swindon, and 31 fewer than Port Vale).

Not sure whether to laugh or cry at those stats, the Conference stats being particularly interesting as surely translating those figures into income we must have far more money to spend, other than the likes of FRG/Eastleigh, it makes the suggestion we should be spending £4 a week exstra at the ground nonsense!!

I just wish more of you had bought 50:50 tickets.
£817 was a decent return for my £1,but could have been more
Had to laugh when second prize went to one Rodney King - no doubt he will be giving his back to the BRSC - I wont- thats my petrol for 15 games paid for!

Mancgas, if you travel down from where your names suggests & you did indeed cop the first prize in the 50/50,then all I can say is fair play to you,if you make the effort to come all that way, then good on you,I did buy 2 as I do at every game I attend, but alas I am still waiting to collect, one day my boy, one day.

Was a great crowd on Saturday, despite how many free kids there were or the number of Grimsby fans that turned up.. hope for more of the same on a match day.

You can't allow fact to get in the way of rhetoric, especially when spouting totally irrelevant nonsense. Really who gives a toss other than the bird brains How many times have I read about the fantastic away support, the facts contradict but we'll keep on claiming it and hope that not too many people read this comment. City fans have had to travel further and pay more but that's irrelevant, isn't it?

They are either both not bad or both crap surely
