Lines free kicks? Always a threat. Corners? Too "floaty" and too deep. What we need from corners is more of what Sercs delivered for the equaliser against Bradford. Other than that, get Linesy in to open up Rochdale for the points that will make us safe.

''....his free kicks and corner kicks have been missed...'' What...those 'loopy' corners? We're rubbish at corners. Lines and now Sercombe overhit them woefully. Yet both are otherwise able long passers. those who stand 'in and around me'. Still funny.

Lines and now Sercombe overhit them woefully. Yeah, see that Sercombe bloke, all he managed on Saturday was to pick out big useless JCH a with a right wing corner, and then what does he go and do, allows the ball to bounce off of his head and can't even hit the goalkeeper, if that net wasn't there the ball would have gone miles!

But it was overhit, Bambs. Luckily JCH leapt to his full 14ft 11inches to mishead the leather.

... GC clearly favours EU ... Especially as he's taken a position in front of the defence, as a sort of back-stop.

But I'm glad be found his line and length. He didn't in my last two home games. 'in and around', the latest football cliche that I despise. I've heard, 'he's got to be in and around the striker there' - what, he's got to be in the striker? That would be a foul, surely. Whatever happened to faggotygas?

Fast forward to 35 secs and save yourself having to witness some comical defending, but after Mr Useless Sercombe plants the ball on the head of JCH for the first goal, watch the next bit, it's another corner, a variation, near post this time, again from Liam which ends up with a smart save and if Charlie was paying attention would have been a goal. www.bing.com/videos/search?q=bristol+rovers+3+bradfor+2&view=detail&mid=EC7FD8F71CBE68D89CE5EC7FD8F71CBE68D89CE5&FORM=VIRE

I enjoyed the link, ta Bambie. He's never useless. And the consecutive corners were both spot on. But it's a longerstanding pet gripe of mine. Loopy and overhit corners, by both players. If it's sorted now, then I couldn't be happier. JCH is more of a monster centre forward every time I see him. A whole season of him would be something else entirely.

The problem with JCH would be, if he did this from Aug until the end of Dec there would be Championship clubs all over him. But as we stand, he's worth every penny of the ticket price, a pleasure to watch the Man do his thing.

Mostly post when something bugs me for no good reason, which is becoming more and more often as I get older. Must get around to trying that yoga.

Where would Gas Guzzler be without them? No idea, but I do see a pattern here, maybe it's the start of something. People believing garbage with no evidence. In 2000 years there could be a whole cult built up around it, the 4 main pillars could be the books of Fanatical, Knowall, Philton and Faustus. Accounts of battles will be given by the Disciple Steve, but his accounts will be challenged as inaccurate and he will be accused of having his pants on fire when referencing Oliver Clarke. Entire sections of the Holy book will be dedicated to the telling of unnecessarily long stories, by The Bard known as Irish. People will dedicate their lives to digging up hills around Purdown trying to find traces of the mythical Stadium of UWE. There will be passages in the main story book banging on about the great leader of Men known as Higgs who could do no wrong but was betrayed by a tyrannical orange empire. Mmm. Well done that’s made me laugh. But I think you’ve forgotten the underground movements of partisans centred around north Cornwall and northeast London that were trying to help but ultimately undermined the empire’s leaders But tbh I don’t think anyone will give a monkey’s in 2 years time let alone 2000! 😉 More to the point what’s going to happen this weekend to save the galaxy? UTG!

Sorry Bamber, can’t be bothered to check back about stuff, But I take your point about some people not forgetting or forgiving, this thread a fine example of it. My point was that in the end given time it will be forgotten and as your picture shows, Easter is coming! UTG!

Watching Wael's ramblings again isn't the very worst use that you could put 16 mins of your time to. In fact, after the thick end of 2 years it's quite interesting hearing him talk down to people who have an opinion about stadium issues and all but tell them to shut up because they haven't ever built one and his crack team have built loads. As for forgiving and forgetting. How long since that bloke got nailed to a cross around Easter time, some people still harbour a bit of a grudge about that. I put it down to high spirits and just boys being boys.

Blimey Bamber, bit of a stretch comparing looking back at a forum thread argument and a pillar of Christian faith! Think they’re a bit different. UTG!

Who would have thought it. Would like to say more, but not allowed to openly mock people's invisible friends on here.

Beats me how Upson keeps his place when Lines is by far a more creative influence and his free kicks and corner kicks have been missed. GC clearly favours EU and Lines future at the Club may well lie elsewhere ...Cheltenham or Yeovil maybe ? Yeovil? Aaaargh. Down there with that ginger buffoon. What has Chris Lines ever done to you, eh?
