This thread has made me smile. Anyone who has been involved with anything remotely 'secret' for Government, the military or other agencies is hardly likely to shout about it whether or not they are still involved. PS Can't tell you how I know that! Exactly Cheshire, no one should be declaring any current (or past) clearances that they hold/have held, as they are not the owner of them. It is the agency that issued it that always remains the owner. Loose lips sink ships!

Oh well, it was too much to hope there had been an increase in intelligent posting on this forum, I shall try and get up to speed and into gear but in response to s couple of comments from this topic, Cwmbran is a very nice place to live and Mr Flynn has done very well out of our or his interest in our previous manager's vacancy having grabbed himself a £25,000 a year salary increase from £60,000 TO £85,000. By the way that's not me being 'in the know' , it's fact ! UTG !

Can you donate the toll money to the Rovers Buy a striker fund? If not, any donation to the club will contribute nicely towards running the London office.

Sort of as I'll be using it to reinvest into the cost of travelling to the Memorial Stadium thereby continuing to put money into Rovers Buy a striker fund

Stoke fans going ballistic up here after losing at home last night to Shrewsbury. Moaning about the same stuff as us. Poor recruitment, lack of investment, unambitious board etc. The new manager has only been there for a week but crowds well down. Think we all want the best for our club but Stoke is a very poor area and yet they have a great stadium and superb training facilities. Suspect fans everywhere are little different and moaning is part of the equation.

-Their team is crap at kick-offs and throw-in routines (possibly with the exception of Stoke actually when Delap was there). -That they get all the terrible referees assigned to their games. -That their club has a particular tendency to put them through the ringer in unneccesary ways ('same old....' - this truly is universal, I've even heard Man United fans say this when 2-0 and conceding a goal with 2 minutes left.....). -That their manager uses the loan system badly and loan players incorrectly. -That their manager says the same things every week but never does anything about it. (I've even heard Man City fans say this about Guardiola!).

Agreed, Irish. The sort of 'fans' in question cannot accept anything less than 100% winning of every throw-in, tackle, free-kick, etc. In fact they seem to resent the very presence of any opposition players and referee. (of course they'd still complain that 25-nil wasn't 26-nil).

New years tweet from wael. Great news for bristol rovers and us fans. After today's humiliation - are you still comfortable with that statement? Ultimately our owners are responsible for what happens on, and off the pitch. Sh*te on it and and f*ck all happening off of it.

Hamer set to leave and thinks that we are going down.
Starnes running the show on behalf of DS.
Sercombe off to Pompey.
DS and mates don't even circulate.
At least 40% cut in budget next season, which will inevitably see the end of the Development Squad.
All gleaned from Box 1 today.
Broken club on and off the pitch.

We are the Gas. You'll never get rid of the Gas.
We will be ok. Our strength has always been in adversity, and we've been through worse.
In other words, don't panic, keep calm, carry on supporting and work together.
