Jeese... this topic has degenerated into school ground name calling. I would expect more from grown men. HB, I don't know you personally although I have always enjoyed your Rovers books. However, your behaviour on this forum recently has, in my eyes, seriously dented your reputation. The mods have received a request to lock this thread, we are considering it. And the main reason I gave UP! In my opionion if I had anything official to do with the club this fool of a person would have nothing to do with it, I would want to keep a major distance to him. I am amazed he even has the gull to say he has had DV or higher clearance, come on Mike just give up now, you have lost all your crediabilty. Knock me and I will accept it as I no longer class myself as a fan but somebody who has an interest. Sometimes things change and people have to get on with other things, like me. I suggest it might be your time to move on as well.

The attention seeking seems to have backfired in spectacular fashion. Eh? It has generated lots of attention The kind Rovers official club historian was wishing for though?? Not too sure

I thought you played a team of plumbers, electricians and plasterers in round 3, lost and that was the competition done for another year.

Anyway for me the new years tweet for great news.
Fantastic that they have backed graham coughlan with a decent contract which will give him greater credibility and confidence during the transfer window. Signing players and moving a player on would be much more difficult with a 6 month deal imo. Well done to wael and co so far in january.

Let me give you a quick lesson Mike. In my professional life, I have had "DV" clearance that has given me access to secret or very sensitive information. Outside of the people that I work with, I tell no one what information I work with. Not a single soul. I don't drop hints about what I know, I don't invite people to PM me so I can share it to prove my knowledge. I would not even talk to colleagues in a place where we could be overheard. The fact that you wanted to tell people as you thought it would "Restore your credibility" speaks volumes about the sort of person you are. ("If I am indeed correct Epping and Padstow already know the possible change at the Club and I will have my credibility restored. As I said I am only the messenger after all.") If you learn something in confidence it goes nowhere. Absolutely nowhere. No grandstanding, no bragging, no trying to give yourself a sense of grandeur from being part of an inner circle. You tell no one, it's that simple. You are not to be trusted. Anybody connected to the club would be an absolute fool to ever share information with you again. In response to Bamber above. If I were to ever tell somebody a secret and then find that they were the source of a leak, who would I blame? Myself. Nobody else. You cannot reveal secrets to people with the caveat of "Keep it off the forum" and expect it to remain a secret. spiltter Don't need no effing advice from you my friend. You really do take the biscuit. I worked in Public service for 37 years yes a long time had more vetting than you have had hot dinners.
Crawl away under your stone I am a free spirit nothing to do with BRFC and never have been. The info shared did not and I repeat not come from any employee or ex employee of BRFC. So PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT BEFORE SPILLING GARGABE.
You've lost it.Really utterly lost it. You've started a new group and want people to get involved, but you do this on a forum? Nothing to do with BRFC? Really. For 20 odd years youve been doing the best you can to be right inside it, take advantage of publicity, events, match tickets, free room space and so on. Like someone else said, I like your books. But not your attitude.

Anyone in touch with Doctor F
Please tell him this
"I am looking for an apology, I can tell you I won't accept any less from you. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let this go now, that'll be the end of it."

Is there a comedy gold section, as this thread needs to be included! If for nothing else, just to serve as a warning to those pretending to be 'ITK', as to how badly it can come back and bite you on your arse when you get found out for talking BS!!

This thread has made me smile. Anyone who has been involved with anything remotely 'secret' for Government, the military or other agencies is hardly likely to shout about it whether or not they are still involved. PS Can't tell you how I know that!
