I have given you the information. If you wish to see the source, please PM me and I will show you the texts that I was given after Saturday at Posh game. My brief was to find out as much as he could. Reliable independent BRFC source.
I knew that there would be budget cuts. DC told us before he left. "At least 40%" was a shock.
In short, I don't give a fig if you believe me or not.

Can you not see it is difficult for some to believe that information to be fact?
You're saying you asked a representative of WWFC to find out as much about our club as he could. So he asked questions to the Rovers top table in Box 1, and they freely gave up these details to someone from the opposition, without any thought about giving it out, or why they were being asked these questions, which most probably would have been in front of others.
If all true … what is it they say about loose lips?

So pleased that the owners have reversed their tedious 'No leaks' policy. 3 years without a single snippet, until some bloke from Adam's Park turned on the charm. Top work Vaughan.

quack quack quack quack quack You've gone again, Kegan. Just put it into Google Translate, something about Brexit and he's friends with a truculent albatross, so you had better watch your back.

If the budget is being cut by 40% that seems certain relegation next season if we don't go down this season, if so, we may as well just go down this season instead of wasting money bringing in more loan players. Hamer clearly has had his nose put out by Starnes hence his "textgate" what's the betting he's behind these stories, it could be he's even being fed spurious info to see if he'll leak it.

The development squad seems like a luxury, especially at 300k+ which could be used to support the first team squad. A club like ours will never be stable enough to justify a development squad. If we get relegated it almost certainly has to go, while we tread water in league one it is an inadvisable cost...it's only the likes of Charlton and co with decent crowds who will likely never be in danger of relegation who can afford such tivialities. Youv'e obviously missed the fact that we have played walsall, forest green, cheltenham, wimbledon, luton and plymouth in the development league.

That's only half the answer though- how much of their annual expenditure are those clubs spending on their development sides and what is the sum total of their debt? We seem to be heavily in debt and are cutting costs. The London office and development team seem like quick wins in terms of clawing back some much needed playing budget.

I think the owners will stick with the development squad and they will be right to do that imo.

Hmm...I'm not sure I agree, early days yet but it seems a mixed bag in terms of the ones who have gone out on loan. I would hope there are at least some efficiency savings to be made eg I can't believe the likes of Cheltenham are spending 300k+ to run their development side.

Surely, getting back to having a keen scouting network would seem the best solution IF they got rid of that silly office ?
