If he wants out to another club, I'd rather find that out BEFORE we sign him.
F him, we can find someone better.

'Coltish' implies youth and untamed energy also to me. EDIT At least it did until I performed a google image search for 'colt'. I expected wild looking young horses. I got guns instead. So I performed a google image search for 'coltish' instead. Frankly, I give up. Well if "coltish" was gun related maybe Hamer was right because he might be shooting off to Coventry !

Looks like we've blown the £1.5m we got for Turncoat, Billy and Ellis on blokes in cheap suits who can't organise stands, do deals we aren't allowed to do with sponsors and come up with the magic solution of squeezing loyal supporters for even more money. The new Rovers feels reassuringly like the old Rovers, it just costs more

How on earth can a player chose the Ricoh over the Mem? ? Money? Naivety? Because they were once a big club? His loss.

If we have now lost out on a black Paul Bannon, let's focus all our efforts and money in securing the black Steve Baddock. Skip the medical and just check out his birth certificate.

Hamer said on Radio Bristol that the forward that Rovers hope to sign is "coltish" I had to look that up "full of energy but awkward and clumsy due to lack of physical control" lets hope that Hamer has got it wrong (again). A big new forward could be the "Smash" that "Grab" Nicholls needs to get scoring. Warboys always looked awkward and clumsy but he knew where the net was

If he wants out to another club, I'd rather find that out BEFORE we sign him. F him, we can find someone better. The problem is we have tried and can’t. I can only think loans now, that’s IF we can find anyone to come here. Our reputation has taken a battering since UWE collapse. I fear we are in for a relegation scrap. We cannot keep selling our best and expect the remaining player to overachieve again and again

We might just have to widen the net a little lower, our reputation wasn't bad enough to sign Matthews or Upson or Sercombe

1. What is our reputation? 2. With who has looked at us on an adverse way? 3. You think players look much past Game time and £££?
If players think they will me moved upwards quickly then surely that is a selling point. Excuse the pun.

We had the mythical stadium and the then called Cat 2 academy to lure players but we do not have that now. It’s a training ground ( if it happens) and I do not believe, for one moment, that we will see any new stadium or rebuild of the mem

It's rarely been any different in last 50 years. It's certainly the Gas most of us begged for when we were relegated out of the league completely. I want better, we all want better, but this is us old bean..

We cant afford the barrel, we're in the biscuit tin We were so poor we used to have a barrel of broken biscuits. I went to the corner shop as a lad and asked if they had any broken biscuits. The shopkeeper (anyone remember Jarman's?) said, 'No, but wait a moment'; and then shook his tin and filled a bag for me!
