If you type Amadou Bakayoko into google the worldwebby search engine says Bristol Rovers player. Wiki not going to be wrong is it if he’s updated it himself? I’m quite positive about his arrival. Sometimes it not just the piece itself but the impact on the pieces around and the whole holistic puzzle. This is someone to get behind, as he works hard, learns, and gets better as a player. But What do we call him? Wacky Bakay? Do we chant Amadou doo doo? And then stop before reference to pineapples? Amadou, do, do, shoot the goal is over there Amadou, do, do wins the headers in the air, To the left, to the right, Amadou he shoots on sight...

6 foot 4, big man to aim for and partner up with our smaller attackers. Really like the look of this signing, we've needed a tall powerhouse striker for years.

He could be a black Paul Bannon. Entertainment guaranteed if he is!, Bannon used to trip over his own feet regular as clockwork. I remember one time he tripped over the edge of the pitch and fell over on the run out from the tunnel!, mind you, he did score a few good goals!.

Leaps a foot would be 7 foot four. Leaps whilst using defender to elevate himself, about 9 foot four. That’s a long way up there that is. Left footed, so presumably left handed, so would favour left side of forehead for placing headers across keeper to right side of goal? And Not to underestimate how useful big guy up front can be to defend set pieces. Hamer said deal 95% done, presumably our chips on the table don’t yet match other chips on table, either Walsall or agent or both? When I was negotiating with the Ariccians and needed a deal, I found creative ways forward overcomes where people sticking on points of principle.

Well, I hope he is a good deal better than the comment made in 4-4-2s review by a Walsall fan suggests!

I think this guy could be good, looks to have some raw talent, if you look at the stats he doesnt seem prolific, however at 120ish games his record is very similar to Harrisons at 120ish games (age 22 as well) - 20 odd goals.
In the past two years Harrison has really kicked on, hopefully this guy can do the same.

Like the look of this bloke, obviously not going to be the finished article, but fairly experienced at this level. Imagine Marcus Stewart will be looking forward to this player as another good project for him to work on.

more of a big target man to set up 25 goals for Nichols to net I don't know anything about him Harry. Look forward to seeing him 'do his thing'. You didn't go to Walsall A on Boxing Day? I did - think I remember him & thinking "as long as gets the goalscoring opportunities, we're laughing." That said,I'd back DC & MS to make something of him & do a job for us.

If its a straight choice I guess it depends if he is from Midlands. Family and friends, not having to move potentially. I am sure DC has given him a good story to consider. Lets wait and see. Either way I will be ok about it. He clearly needs time invested in him, which is fine, but if he chooses Cov it wont be the end of the world.

Yes, let's. What else is there to do? Do you have his number? As for my view, he looks alright in that video. But he needs to start scoring more goals. And BRFC's a good place to score more goals. Okay James didn't, and Nichols hasn't yet. But we have midfielders who can play you in. Does anyone have a view on him and Nichols? We're keeping and playing Nichols. At least until January. So we might as well sign players who fit in. A partner to complement Nichols please. Thanks.

They say Coventry City will get him, rumour. No way! So we'll need to up his wages to stop him going to a different club that's shown interest at the last minute? Curse our rotten luck....

Going to Coventry it would seem unbelievable. He would stay in the Midlands area which he might prefer. According to the Coventry telegraph he would be their 3rd choice striker. If we can't attract a player that would be guaranteed first team football every match then we may aswell give up.
