Amazing that Ed Ware can apparently come up with £50m for the UWE and make it work for himself but the WAQ's can't apparently make it work for the club!! I thought he'd run into financial difficulties a couple of years ago, so I find it baffling.

Bristol Rovers are becoming more professional every day Bristol Rovers are spending money on backroom staff everyday. Why do we need a President, a Chairman (what does he do) and a CEO? More Coaches than South West Trains, medical staff performance staff, and on and on. But the real crux of the matter of progression you can put down to 2 words, "New Stadium" So we should do nothing at all until a new stadium is delivered? Wouldn't that be a bit like launching a super duper aircraft carrier when you've no planes to put on it.

Maybe, but there are lots of sailors ready and waiting to get "on board", and without the sailors there would be no navy

Bit like having a stadium only for football.... oh wait we have one of them at the moment

I was under the impression, as were several other directors, ... You should have made more of your directorship at the time, Jools.

With that ability wilfully to misspell 'wilfully', and to split an infinitive... but you are teasing me Bambi, surely? Correction accepted for additional letter l, but I have never cared much for the thoughts of Alford. Should we base our linguistic rules on the ramblings of a grown man who holds to the belief that he has an invisible friend and that he knows the mind of God? He should have been shipped straight out to the Radio 4 studios, given the 'Thought for the Day' slot and allowed to get his frustrations that others had found a concise way of expressing themselves off of his chest. He would have felt better, as today, nobody would have been listening and we could all get on with it. Language evolves, I see no problem with that. If one decides to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilisations. To boldly go where no man has gone before and whilst there to blast everything you encounter with a phaser set to stun, then I'm all for it.
