Thank you for that Angas.
From what Hamer say's it was quite lucky for Rovers that anyone wanted to buy the injury prone crock so its a great deal
Then he says that you have to be careful buying players in January because there might be some dodgy reason why they are moving (probably slightly misquoting him ) well its funny that other clubs can buy Rovers best players in January Steve,at knockdown prices too.
Sorry,I just cant take the bloke seriously he reminds me of Neil Kinnock another waffling Welsh windbag, just hope that Hamer takes his own advice and moves on after all he doesn't want his CV to look bad.

Run that by me again Simon in simple english Some people don’t believe Hamer, because he changes his mind, says something different or whatever reasons However they may choose to believe him when he says something that might reaffirm a negative opinion of him/Dwane or the club. Thank you

Can you explain why that is an issue, given the club has no control over when the web site is updated, it could have been today and would you feel the same then ? I have no idea what the internal processes are for updating the website but I find that rather difficult to believe. Website stories are simultaneously put out on Facebook and Twitter, who controls those accounts? If it had been today, tommorow, last week, next week I would still feel the same because: A. It isn't "news" and B. They wouldn't have been reporting this if Bodin was staying. Don't recall the previous planning consultants being announced? Non-story. PG - covered further up the thread but in short, clubs have control as to what goes on their website and when with very few exceptions. The website hosting company provide a choice of templates (three different ones when I worked on it), the club makes its choice and then populates 99% of the site itself by writing stories and setting them to upload at whatever time they plan.

not all PNE fans exactly pleased with their first Bristol Rovers signing since Alfie Biggs ....who incidentally returned to Rovers 18 months later. From their forum Note of caution from a North Ender living less than a mile from the Memorial Ground. As previously stated, I don't think that he has the pace of Barky, the energy of Horgan or the flair of Robinson, so I think he makes the squad stronger but not our first team. I hope I am being pessimistic. 1 person from a thread numbering 16 pages when I looked yesterday. So all PNE fans who expressed an opinion were pleased with the Billy Bodin signing, except one.See what I did there?

Billy assist for Preston's third. Elsewhere, Watford are 2 up. 4-1 Preston and Bill subbed off. Quiz question (No googling): Wycombe substituted one ex Rovers player and brought on another. Can anyone get both?
