The club has never been better run because we have a fantastic manager if it wasn't for him apart from improved training facilities I fail to see much difference in the running of the club from previous seasons. Really......? I think almost all the feelgood factor has come from the manager and the players he signed and retained after our relegation out of the league. leadbitter, brown, lockyer, mansell, sinclair,o clarke, lines, taylor, easter and harrison have along with the manager been the main reason for our success. Since then bodin and gaffney and some of the loans have done well. For me the owner has secured our immediate future which is very important but nothing else has really impressed me as yet.

What have they been saying to make you think they don't want what's best for the club? Not having a go at you, but if ticketing and merchandising wasn't stuck in the stone age, they would have some idea who was spending what. Wanting the best for the club IMO is letting those in charge get on with the job, a job that in such a short space of time is being done extremely well. The club has never been in better and nor has it been more professionally run than it is today, behind the scenes the speed of development has been incredible, yet the mindless are out to critisise in a way I find mind boggling, the negativity in some people is astounding. If people actually listened to what WAQ said from day one about building a sustainable future for the FC without flitting millions and rushing into making snap decisions then they would realise that harking on about negative points is a waste of time, I don't think he will be drawn into appeasing the whingers, nor should he. Very easy to pick on the ticketing system while the new owners are working tirelessly to build a new home for the club fit for the 21st century, everything will fall into place over time, and sadly people will still whinge in the meantime, something i personally find baffling given the history of the club in being run like a pub team. Great post and in total agreement. I think too many are taken in by a certain Teds comments on the BP site.

So, you're not impressed we are not looking at how to pay off a debt to a high interest company and the Sainsbury's debacle and that we still have a ground and team to watch, in the FL then ? I despair at times. We are obviously allowed differing opinions but since the AQ's took over no one has once warned another poster of possible defamation litigation. Wael is a man of his word but patience is is massive short supply at our club. It's like the last 2 Promotions never happened & we are still being lied to via Radio Bristol. Lots has changed but decades of outright neglect don't take 1.5 seasons to undo and make good.

Also i am being patient and realising that this is a long term project. But all my joy from the last 3 seasons have come from darrell clarkes team mostly formed in the conference season. I want to see serious backing from the board on the playing side for the coming season, right or totally misguided thats what i would like to see as a season ticket holder and supporter. Can i be sued for not blindly worshiping our owner? For me this is a critical moment for our club, deliver a new ground and maintain progress on the pitch is the minimum requirement in my view.

As long as there is provision in the budget to pay for all overseas Gasheads to attend every home and away match next season, then it is a good budget.
