I had to look up "ameliorating" - but agree 100%. I've now called 6 times without success. A lot of people would have given up by now. Effectively it's the last day to buy and expect them in the post before Saturday. I'm not blaming the staff - but this antiquated system needs sorting out. In the past we have bought tickets too late for the post and some nice lady from the club has brought them to the game for us to collect.

Yep - I think they linked to an article that contained the pay-on-the-day info but shouldn't have.

From BP:
Coventry City are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault which took place following Bristol Rovers 1-0 defeat to Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.
The alleged assault is said to have been carried out by a man in a Bristol Rovers jacket on a 24-year-old Coventry City fan just outside the main entrance to the Ricoh Arena by the taxi queue.
The perpetrator, who was around 6ft tall and accompanied by a friend, was wearing a black jacket which had a Rovers logo on it.
The incident happened on Judds Lane, near the road leading to Rowleys Green Lane and several taxis were waiting in the area at the time.
Other fans leaving the ground had apparently been accosted by these two and the traffic attendants who were working around the traffic lights near the big roundabout outside the ground had spotted the taller man.
Rovers took more than 4,000 fans to the Ricoh Arena for the League One match, the vast majority of whom behaved impeccably. However this one incident could undermine what was Rovers' biggest away following for a number of years.
A statement from Bristol Rovers read: "We do not want individuals like this associated with Bristol Rovers Football Club and we would ask if any of our fans witnessed the incident in question, or knows the name of either of those involved, to help trace the individuals involved."
Coventry City are currently looking through CCTV footage at the Ricoh Arena but urge anyone who saw the incident to come forward with information.
Witnesses can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or West Midlands Police on 101 and ask for that police service or contact Bristol Rovers on 0117 909 6648 option 9.

What a load of horse sh*t!
Whilst I'm not condoning any unprovoked attack, ever, this kind of thing happens all the time. It happens on football days and not. It happens in society, to us and others.
To make public this sort of thing is gonna take loads and loads of time, for little gain.
However unacceptable this behaviour might be, for flip sake it happens on a Friday night down town more, and one incident out of 4000 just isn't worth making a point about as it's way way less than 1% of normal law abiding Gas.

What a load of horse sh*t... Had this been at the Australian Grand Prix, and the offender's jacket had had a Mercedes badge on it, would the Mercedes team even have been contacted? Hint: no, the jacket would not have been noted at all. I know tribal football violence has an entirely different history, but not every single isolated alleged assault by someone in Rovers branded leisurewear is a matter for club investigation. I'm not condoning any assault either; such violence is unacceptable. Just agreeing that this incident may have had nothing to do with BRFC, especially if 3999 others did not assault anyone.

I think that these away games where 'everyone' goes can be a bit of a pain, big queues, half an hour to get served in the pubs and no increase in atmosphere I thought that Southport away in the Conference was better than Woking that season or Portsmouth last season. Kidderminster was brilliant but they were pretty flexible and were ready for us. A great day out and smiles all around. The best food I've ever had at any football ground too
