The only benefit of the game on Tuesday is we have a few players who need to get minutes on the clock.
Personally I'd wouldn't even bring Lockyer, Lines, Brown, Sinclair, Taylor and Ellis to the game, they've played a lot of games recently and could do with a night in watching Holby City or similar tripe. I think Leadbitter, Hartley and Gaffney are likely to start against 'Wall so ideally I'd leave them at home too, but we might be a bit short otherwise! If any of the youngsters out on loan Broom, Kilgour, Greenslade, Lucas are back then I'd get them involved. If not then the best of the U18s can fill in the gaps.
Puddy
Leadbitter
J Clarke
Macca
Roberts
Bodin
O Clarke
Mansell
Moore/Montano (maybe a half each)
Easter
James
Roos
Hartley
Boateng
Moore/Montano
Gaffney

We've seen some exciting scenes this weekend in a cup competition (poignantly, Rochdale fans) that's the oldest and little changed throughout generations.
It serves little and big teams alike.
Have a look at the fans attending some of those matches and ask yourself what it means to support that club at that time?
Heartache. Ecstasy. It's a thin line separates the true fans' feelings.......Tuesday, evokes none of those feelings to me.
Well done football authorities for killing this competition for the masses whom have supported this trophy in all formats in the past. Generations of families have paid their hard earned, length and breadth of the country in the past.
Anyway, whomever plays Tuesday, please no injuries. Cards don't matter in this joke of a trophy.
I won't criticise my fellow Gas brothers and sisters whom will cheer on Rovers on Tues, safe journey to you all.
I just implore you to reconsider..

We can still do it, we can still qualify for the next round, oh who cares? DC cares I am sure as well ....whatever team he fields. Chance to make some money if we progress to next stages. Pompey are there for the taking.
May be worth playing Gaffney to improve his goalscoring record and rest Taylor.

Sticking to the five changes rule i'd go for...
Roos
Leadbitter Macca Clarke Roberts
Montano Boateng Clarke Moore
Easter Harrison
Ideally i'd play Puddy instead, maybe give him the second half or sub him on after a minute?

I'd just pick a Banter XI.

I'd just pick a Banter XI. Brian Seymour Smith in the starting 11?

Oddly strong bench. No run outs for any kids tonight.

Boateng playing at the back of the midfield diamond per RadBris
but he's a distributor, not a defender?
