Wimbledon all day long for me. The story of them being in the same division as the MK Dons after 13 years of existence would be simply incredible. Totally. I know this doesn't matter to everyone, but it does to me. I admit I am ungracious to and dismissive of Milton Keynes fans. I have not recogised their football club nor right thereto. A town of the size of Milton Keynes deserves a league club. But one built from the bottom of the the non league pyramid. One grown from grassroots football of their own. One thus boasting its own heritage of years struggling and growing. Wimbledon fans were let down by their owners. And Merton borough council. And implementation of football league rules. Then they built it all over again. They're not perfect; nobody is. But they're the real deal of a football league club. Until Wimbledon achieve higher league standing than Milton Keynes... ... the status of the Milton Keynes club remains an abomination.
