Just looked at the FL site and if League 2 is the same format as the Championship, we will be Match A,meaning our home game would be Sunday, 15 May at 1800 hrs.

That isn't really what happened though is it? Bamber is right. What actually happened was that they all sat there and hovered up the good times well past the point when it was pretty clear that everything looked spectacularly dodgy and built on sands. Then when it ground to the inevitable halt a football club landed in their laps almost by default because there was nothing left for anyone to asset strip anymore. I'm entirely with Bamber here - the don't deserve the redemption narrative, but they'll get it anyway. They took the stadium owner to court and bought the ground from him for a paltry £3m. Well done them for making it happen, I'm sure all supporters would fight for their club in a similar way if the chips were down, but as you say, they had the good times, the bubble was always going to burst. Yes - and good for them, but they were very fortunate with the stadium situation. If that had not happened - AFC Portsmouth of the Conference South would probably have been the way forward.

I can't find anything that tells us either way, but deciding the playoff dates after the end of the season sounds ridiculous even by Sky's standards of messing people about.

But who cares about the fans anyway? We are just the mugs who go every week and stand on the terraces, travel the length and breadth of the country, become emotionally involved. What's that compared to making sure the tv schedules are neat and tidy, the prawn sandwich brigade are happy and the advertisers are paying their bit. We know our place.

A lot of feeling we can get up through autos, that would be great but it will be the play offs, here's why: - references to our last day v Mansfield are irrelevant, we were at the bottom for good reason, so always liable to lose. Accrington and Oxford are at the top for good reason. - we are talking about 3 of the most consistent teams in the division, yes pressure can change this, but Accies have no expectation, few fans, and I suspect a siege mentality built by a Wiley manager to motivate the team. They just keep winning! - Wycombe are useless and don't win 'big' games. That mentality just isn't there.Prepare for the Dons! You do realise that WW have lost once in the last nine visits to the kassam and this is very much a derby match for them right?!!!

Derbies are generally physical competitive games and often result in draws. I will certainly be cheering any Wycombe goals from the River Lee.

I can't find anything that tells us either way, but deciding the playoff dates after the end of the season sounds ridiculous even by Sky's standards of messing people about. Bristol Evening Post have an article about the promotion race and the play-off matches. According to which:- The League Two play-offs One of either Rovers, Oxford United or Accrington Stanley would face AFC Wimbledon in a two-legged play-off semi-final. The first-leg would take place at Kingsmeadow – probably on Thursday, May 12 (7.30pm). The second leg would take place at either the Memorial Stadium, the Kassam Stadium or The Crown Ground - probably on Sunday, May 15 (7.30pm). The other tie will see Portsmouth play Plymouth Argyle. As the League Two table currently stands Plymouth would most likely host Portsmouth in the first leg at Home Park on Saturday May 14 (7.30pm). The return fixture would take place at Fratton Park on Wednesday, May 18 (7.45pm). The venues would be reversed should Plymouth manage to leapfrog Portsmouth after the final round of regular season fixtures are completed on Saturday. Both sides go into the final day locked on 78 points. The Football League will confirm exact dates and times of all play-off fixtures once the regular season comes to an end this weekend.

Rather than 7.30 pm.

IF we end up in the playoffs - presumably the away tickets will go on sale on Monday for the away fixture? Thinking about pessimistically booking Monday off work to ensure i get some!

If it's 7.30pm that gives me a chance.
Here's hoping all this play off talk is completely immaterial
