Ok guys, can we just turn up and pay tomorrow night? Still not 100% that I can go depending on work commitments. Can't see them turning away paying customers for a Tuesday night fixture.

When I phoned our ticket office last week they suggested I just pay on the day and save postage and booking fee. I'm hoping to do that.

It's not been advertised as all ticket so as Obama was often quoted as saying "Yes you can"! but don't blame me if there's a lock out, there were 500 tickets left earlier on in the week from our allocation and we have a big following in London who always turn up. I don't suppose they'll mind too much if you sneak in the home end though.

Stevenage should have a look at what Woking did last year, and then do the opposite.

I called Stevenage this morning and they said Rovers had all the tickets. Any they had not sold would returned to the club and those would then be the pay on the gate remainder. I phoned our ticket office and bought two which I will pick up at Stevenage - I recon there could easily be 300 pay on the days and was not prepared to risk it. Can't bloody wait.

This has the potential to turn into another Woking with a large turn out on the night

I'm leaving work in Bristol at 4pm and going straight there and pay at the gate.
Never been there before for football or any other reason, will this be enough time bearing in mind traffic to and from London?

It should be, unless something happens en route. Good luck.

It mostly depends on how the M25 is running - you are hitting it at peak time. You should be OK though. Just don't leave any later than 4pm... Safe journey Gasheads.

172 tickets left on the gate, why anyone wouldn't buy in advance is beyond me.

Any Gas getting there early for a couple of jars... The pub "Our Mutual Friend" was recommended to me (by someone who used to play for Stevenage). A602 / Broadwater Crescent roundabout. Right next to the Esso garage. CAMRA pub. About 10 minutes walk to the ground from there. Looks like plenty of off road parking. UTG.

Didn't realise there would be so few, 400 were there yesterday. Surprising for a non-local midweek away game.

Got my ticket sorted thankfully - would easily see this selling out on the gate - get there early i guess! And if you dont, quietly make your way to the home turnstiles!

Agreed - if you are willing to travel that distance surly picking up the phone and ordering a ticket shouldnt be too difficult. However as the OP says, for him and many others, it will be a last minute decision dependant on commitments, there is more to life than football. (apparently )
