I'll be there. I wonder who will be there from BRFC? Toni the Till? At the original Judgement no-one represented the Club which I thought was poor. Having seen some of the original case / Judgement / Appeal - it will be good to finally put this to bed. Thankfully not the Club threatening life or death result that we were facing only a month ago. Afterwards go out on the Guinness to celebrate the win / drown the sorrows. I would have thought the latter. Very thoughtful of some-one to schedule this on St Patrick's Day.

Im sure the new chairman will ensure some representation if not only for PR. Whatever happens I think all gasheads will breath a sigh of relief (then vent anger or plaudits at Nick 'Watertight' Higgs).

Don't we already know the result? There is no way the old board would have stepped aside if there was a hope in hell of a positive outcome.
The game was well and truly up - thankfully we are not facing administration on Thursday.

BRFC are/will already be aware of the verdict although embargoed from releasing info until 10am Thursday. As happened last time, no-one from BRFC is likely to be there but I'm sure a statement will be issued at 10am on Thursday.
The hearing will last 10/15 minutes and they will only announce the result, not the reason for the result. I attended the Court case in May and one morning they delivered a verdict of another case before ours recommenced at 10.30, that verdict took 5 mins max.

I am aware it won't take long. I'll chose how to spend my time, thanks.

If I had an afternoon conference at chambers in Chancery Lane, I would have gone and worn the quarters underneath my suit haha. Sadly office-locked this week, will be checking for updates on the sly from my desk...

Only tempered by the fact that the takeover was more than 3 weeks ago now and that seems a long time to have any "knowledge" of the outcome and for the results to be publicly declared if, as it says elsewhere in this thread, that it is just a 10/15 minute announcement.

Whatever the result it won't spoil my st Patrick's day but seems everyone is not that worried and seems to think we've lost but if we did manage a win that's 15 mil more to spend on our new ground

Poor old Nicky Higgs, nice bloke, just a **** tenure of our beloved club, meant well, but just marginally out of his depth; personally, one way or the other I will be just glad to she the back of Shamesburys and the saga of a court case. The king is dead, long live the king, boom boom boom wael wael.

Accepted that NH has not had a successful tenure (putting it mildly), but I would just love it anyway if the judgement did turn out to be in our favour - NH would at least then have made the right decision to appeal. Plus Shamesbury's would suddenly have about 40 similar cases to handle - that would teach them a lesson that the big boys don't always get their own way. Unlikely I know but wouldn't it be brilliant!

Do you know when, per the protocols governing this sort of stuff, BRFC would have found out? I have a hazy memory from last time around that the parties find out the result the day before, but can't say 'owt

Turning up last time got him interviewed on the telly. Which might not be worth much, but is at least a bit different to most days

The king is dead, long live the king, boom boom boom wael wael. No pity from me. Had he been able to delegate and accept responsibility, be honest, open up a bit then I would think differently but he was bullish, aloof and pernickety. He alienated people, disengaged from fans and would blame anyone other than himself. This can't even be blamed on Sainsburys as we changed the terms of the contract ourselves but cry foul when they point this out. I will be very glad to see the back of this and the old guard. Once this is over we can truly move on and I will be mightily relieved to do so
