I'm a bit underwhelmed by this signing, but that's all. He might do alright, he probably won't play much, and in five years time we probably won't remember him. I'd rank this up with signing Bo Henriksen in terms of excitement. Let's hope he does a bit better than he did. except fallon has played 400 league games I'm not sure that's relevant to what I said, but if he finishes the season with 10 more appearances than he currently he has we will have got something out of him, at least.

Good player... we had him at Yeovil twice (in 2004/05 and 2011/12) and he played a dozen games for us. Very experienced and this could be a blinding signing if it works out for him.
One of the nicest guys I've ever met in football too. He'll be a good character in the dressing room; not your shouty "get them up" type of bloke but more a quieter, steadier, cool head if the situation gets a little rocky. Have to say, I'm a little jealous we never went for him.

Mmm. Going against the majority here, not sure we necessarily need him. With Easter, Taylor, Gaffney on books, will he get playtime? I presume with him being training for a month DC has done due diligence on him and I do trust DC. I presume also it's a kind of insurance against injuries. Hope I'm proved wrong. The important thing about Rovers over the past 18 months has been the togetherness of the squad and I just hope he doesn't upset it. Anyway welcome to The Gas. UTG! playtime? Wtf?

I think we should hear some Rory Gallagher music before the next home game just for our two Rory's (and because you can't beat some good blues-rock).

Maybe he lost his keys? Maybe he was tired of living a lie? Maybe he was the victim of a very poor LBW decision and threw his toys out of the pram?

Excellent. A definite asset in the dressing room at the very least. (Someone looked a little worried at one point though.) Wonder if they'll all learn it by the end of the season.

Impressive initiation ceremony tonight as well.... Brilliant! VERY impressive indeed. I am a big fan of the Haka and have learned a few myself. I love the warrior spirit and honour code. That was fantastic & I don't get the laughter at all. Awesome stuff

looks a good haka to me, what do the kiwis there think of it jeff ? I think the Haka has lost a bit of it's mystique and kudos (or Mana as they say in Maori). There was a time when it was just the Maori and All Blacks who performed it. Now it's seems it done by everyone for anything. But as Haka's go it was a good'un and it was the traditional Haka as most people know it.

I think Fallon is half-Maori through his mother, so I guess he has as much right to perform it as anyone.
I've always thought it looks a bit silly myself.
