Have 2 Rory's ever played for us in the past and at the same time? No ...you wait for one Rory to come along for 133years and two along at once !

Brilliant interview - where does DC keep picking up these decent blokes from? Welcome to the Gas Rory Fallon!

A Kiwi eh? I wonder if he knows JeffNZ and Paul Nixon. Well, he might do. Welcome to the club Rory, but then again if he's been here for some time already then that's probably an unneccessary thing to say. But it seems to me like a canny piece of business by the club. They say there is just 2 degrees of seperation (not 6) here in New Zealand so while I don't know Rory, I know someone who does! I was at the game when he scored the goal that took the All Whites to the world cup and it's up there in my top 5 amazing footballing moments. Welcome Rory and next time you're in Wellington let's have a pint as Gasheads together.

I'm a bit underwhelmed by this signing, but that's all. He might do alright, he probably won't play much, and in five years time we probably won't remember him.
I'd rank this up with signing Bo Henriksen in terms of excitement. Let's hope he does a bit better than he did.

If he's fit and can stay fit then get him in. Maybe coming on for 20 minutes and should prevent another forward running himself into the ground. He's about the same age as Easter, anyone know what injury has kept him out since Ocotber, I'm assuming it was an injury ? That's quite a collection of older heads we've gathered what with him, Easter and Lawrence. Lets hope it doesn't upset the momentum of the squad and particularly the spirit within it.

He was honest in the interview, got himself fit then turned to his mate for extra help. Gets wages but needs to prove himself sounds ideal, good luck to him hope it works out.

Watch the interview - he says about it there and how he's worked to get himself back to full fitness. Hopefully he'll stay fit and prove useful on the pitch, but if nothing else he seems like a good character to have in the squad. If half his determination rubs off on younger players I'd be happy.
Two pluses for me in the past week - listening to Lee Mansell on the radio and now hearing Fallon talk about DC. It's all sending good signals from behind the scenes, something I haven't felt about Rovers for too many years now.

Mmm. Going against the majority here, not sure we necessarily need him. With Easter, Taylor, Gaffney on books, will he get playtime? I presume with him being training for a month DC has done due diligence on him and I do trust DC. I presume also it's a kind of insurance against injuries. Hope I'm proved wrong. The important thing about Rovers over the past 18 months has been the togetherness of the squad and I just hope he doesn't upset it. Anyway welcome to The Gas. UTG!
