Does anybody else think the thought of RC returning as our No 1 totally uninspiring. It would feel like a typical JW, not DC, signing in my view. Although you sense this is just a reash of the rumours in the summer about him returning, and they turned out to be nonsense.

It's kind of odd but also makes sense, he knows the area and it wouldn't take him any time to settle in. If it's until the end of the season it wouldn't be a bad signing.

It would feel like a typical JW, not DC, signing in my view. It wouldn't be unlike Darrell Clarke to sign a player who had played with him at Salisbury.

Staffordshiregas: I don't think Alfreton away was a low point at all. We got a point, I had a few good pints in a couple of nearby pubs, and cheap fish & chips too. It was a nice grey cold winter evening in a drab town, a bit cold and wet, but at least we were under cover. Funny how some saw Alfreton away as two points lost and Woking away as a point gained. Mind you as a town Woking was a real dump it made Alfreton seem scintillating! Don't get me wrong - I don't want to go back to either place unless its in the FA Cup......
