It's for a Final Score special along with 7 other fixtures kicking off at 2pm. Sounds fecking awful if you ask me. I am a bit dense can someone explain. Can I watch the whole game live on the final score red button, or is it simply they will flitting in and out? Well that makes two of us dense in that case, I'm assuming there will be one camera there that will try and follow the ball around a bit like the days when there were only black and white films and there were limited camera shots available, only this time it will be in colour

Never lost at home to a non league Club in Rovers history ...1920 to 2015
Played 27 Won 23 Drew 4 Lost 0 goals scored 78 and 16 conceded.
Four draws were Llanelly 1950, Kettering 1969, Runcorn 2002 and Carlisle 2004
Long may this record continue
Cheating scum Wycombe beat us in the cup 2-1 in 1993...this was before they became cheating scum Wycombe I don't think Wycombe ever beat us while they were non league. Plenty of others have though!

Crap. We'll get pennies for this, in return for inconveniencing fans and end up with a lower attendance anyway.
Just say no Rovers, FC Utd of Manchester did.

As ours is not a 'televised game' do the same rules apply? For that game I think they get about £65k, one assumes the 'cut' for this Sunday is considerably less, £65 anyone? Interesting the last para in that link FC United’s usual price is £9. If the minimum adult price of £10 is applied, FC United will be issuing a £1 voucher to all adult ticket holders that they can spend on food and drink or merchandise at the ground. This offer will be extended to away supporters. FC United will pick up this cost and this will not affect the division of gate receipts with Chesterfield FC.The FA say they have to charge £10 so FC U are picking up the difference, small chunk out of the BBC money but amazing PR.

But we aren't even being televised? Why the f*ck should we move? 1 camera at the ground and the BBC bouncing around to 7 other games. So effectively you can't watch the whole game on TV. I had made arrangements to be in Bristol for Saturday, but can't make the game on Sunday. I have to say - what a great response from FC Manchester to the FA. Maybe one day our Club will take into consideration it's own supporters wishes. Pigs flying and all that.

I don't have Sky for that very reason - I don't like the way they move fixtures to suit themselves. But he who pays the piper....and all that. However, playing devils advocate, could it be argued that they knew the rules prior to starting in the competition - i.e. that fixtures could be changed to suit to schedules - and taking a stand now is fine but had zero chance of success? The FA were never going to back down on that one at this stage or chaos would reign. Wish them well in their progress but think realism had to kick in at some point. Think a better away for them is to gather support outside of this and present a more united ( excuse the pun) stand from many clubs rather than a single one.

We've been moved in order to feature in a magazine programme. What a crock of s***. I agree - I think this is a disgrace. It's one thing moving a game so that it can be shown live on TV but just to be part of a marketing gimmick is dreadful. It undermines the FA Cup and it's a terrible way to treat core supporters.

Same here. Had arranged to bring other family members to their first football match on the Saturday (reduced ticket prices etc.) but due to other commitments on the Sunday I now cannot go. Not at all happy. OK it's only Chesham and not Chelsea but it means another week without a home match for me. Judging by other comments this has not been a popular decision.

3 times I've missed watching Rovers recently because of various re-arrangements - if you don't get to see them very often then it's really bloody annoying. But I think this is a complete joke from the BBC. No mark against the club at all - obviously they'll take the money. But I'm fed up with the game being designed to make as much money as possible from the 'casual' fan at the expense of the committed core supporter. FC United were even told that they weren't allowed to turn down a TV fixture because that took precedent. So that's a fan own club with a set of distinct principles having a scenario imposed upon them through the TV company by the FA against their wishes. They didn't want the money - again fans put at the bottom of the priority ladder.

The Rovers Official Site has announced that the Cup tickets are now on sale.
"The First Round tie has been selected for Single Camera Coverage, which means, Darrell Clarke's men will entertain the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier side at the Memorial Stadium on Sunday 8th November (2:00pm kick off) following Monday's draw live on BBC 2. However, this DOES NOT mean that the game will be live on the BBC, but will be part of a highlights package".
The capital / bold text is from the original, emphasising that it's not a live game; in other words "if you want to see the match, you'll have to be in the ground". I sense Rovers have realised that any compensation from the BBC for the fragmented TV coverage might not cover the loss of revenue through the turnstiles.

Has anyone got a Scooby why the game has to be moved, to be featured in a highlights programme?

Has anyone got a Scooby why the game has to be moved, to be featured in a highlights programme? The BBC have got a "live highlights" programme planned, a bit like NFL Redzone (which works because its actually live, as opposed to just happened). Utter, utter bollocks and I will be writing to the FA, the BBC and Rovers to register my displeasure. That'll show them!
