This may have already been brought up but Clarke seems to snap and interrupts when being asked questions by the local press. He always seems to look away from the interviewer when they are talking to him too. I don't know if he knows he's doing it but it comes across that Clarke has got a chip on his shoulder.

I'm pretty sure Darrell attended most days of the Leveson Inquiry and has a deep mistrust of the press.

There is a marked change in DC this season. I am glad I am not the only one who has noticed it. It must be bloody difficult knowing what players you want & spending time doing the groundwork but then not having the backing to sign them. Lit seem that Marcus is the one doing the touch line stuff too. It looks to me like DC is frustrated and who can blame him. Too much going on over court cases and attention again being taken off if the most important thing, the football. I don't blame DC at all. I bet most of us woukd not even want to answer question were we in his position

Why are you picking on our manager, I expect he gets fed up answering the same old questions all the time!

Watch Gerry Francis, his head used to bob around like someone watching tennis!

Obviously he hasn't been on his media training course yet, but it will come. Whether it's with us or his next club, and he'll more than likely do it well because he seems to be a natural communicator. But at present he does seem to be a little uneasy being interviewed, and probably would like to get away. Well, that's the impression he gives me at any rate.

I thought the best at looking sideways was Gerry Francis. I don't like it when DC doesn't wait for the end of the interview er's question ( I think this is what OP is talking about) He's not snapping just butting in he's always done it.

But that's how people speak normally. Interrupting each other. DC is just natural...it's refreshing. Don't "mediatise" him, please.

I've interviewed a lot of people on camera and most will look away, to the sides etc when thinking about the answer to a question. Perfectly natural.
