The funny thing is..it's actually their own manager who keeps complementing us about our fan base and passionate support. Maybe they are just pissed at him because he's thinking 'wtf am I doing at this tin pot s***house of a club', who will always be a conference - league two yo yo club'.. bless. Chin up little bees, I couldn't give a **** about your little pathetic wind up, you are just complete tin pot little club trying to get attention and start a rivalry with a HUGE club with a MASSIVE fan base. Can't wait to hear your 1000 fans sing all these songs..oh wait..1000 fans would be their home attendance wouldn't it? Nail on head. Allen talks us up, and they don't like it.

They keep banging on about being Champion don't they, I'm glad we went to Wembley so much better. Barnet wind us up as much as you want you won't get under our skins, you little tin pot club.

3-0 win for us, Barnet don't look a good team and with our past 2 performances I can see another dominating game. I'm certainly not fussed about anything they have to say, we will shut them up on the pitch!!! Utg.

To be fair, there are a few posters on here that seem to believe much the same thing Like who? I have not seen this myself. There were those who thought that we should have been walking the conference by Christmas last year, just because we are Bristol Rovers, ignoring all the realities.

To quote my friend "their forwards go down quicker than a lady of the night's drawers...." If they are under pressure you are going to see a Klinnsmann style dive at some point!

Lads, they've gone fishing and you've all had a bite. Silly.

"I think they're both terrible, sorry! Perhaps I'm boring but just don't find it funny to taunt about financial or ground troubles."
"Spot on. When we went through the turmoil there was nothing funny about it."
"Absolutely.Rovers have gone through a miserable time both on and off the pitch. MUCH LIKE US. At the end of the day they are what they are and we are what we are. Being a big city club with only one local rival they can command a fan base of several thousand. We have the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, QPR, Watford right on our doorstep so our fan base is much smaller. So what! Last season we finished one point above Rovers. Was this the only season we have finished above them in 127 years of existence (Jerroll?)? We are probably at our level now. Rovers are not. They should be at least one division higher, maybe even Championship. Please let us maintain our dignity and not resort to cheap banter or childish provocative songs. Save your vocal chords for cheering on the Bees."
I guess some of their fans do have brains. Don't know why some of them want to start a rivalry...

their last two visits to Mem has seen us win vital games with stoppage time winners in front of two very big crowds....third time ..maybe a late Taylor 94th min winner !

A quick google shows they've spent about 25 seasons in the football league, ever... so not quite a rival. They have spent more years in the League than Wycombe.

In the greater scheme of things - neither Barnet nor Wycombe can be said to be rivals- its only our current underachieving position that gives any credibility to that arguement - which would be their arguement of course....

Mind you I would have preferred to have finished in top spot, because then it would all have been done and dusted. But all's well that ends well, eh? Mind you if that last-gasp penalty hadn't gone in . . .

You could've bleated "another sign of how far we've fallen" every day since about 1993, and it would've been as tedious then as it is now

Wycombe got promoted to The Football League in 1993, and have had 22 uninterupted years since. Barnet have spent a total of 18 years as a Football League club
