Not quite as strong a Reading team as expected, but a few bigger names on their bench. Reading:- AlHabsi; Ferdinand; Obita; Akpan; Tshibola; Quinn; Taylor; Samuel; Long; Keown; Fosu. Subs: Bond, Gunter, Norwood, Pogrebnyak, Blackman, Williams, Kuhl, Griffin, Novakovich, Hyam. 14-Jul-2015: Goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi has joined Reading on a two-year deal after he was released by Wigan. Ferdinand. Signed in August 2014, Anton Ferdinand did not make his Reading debut until 4 November 2014. He had been side-lined with a hamstring injury but played the first half in a 3-0 home win against Rotherham United. Obita. England Youth international midfielder, Jordan Obita has played 75 times for Reading (1 goal). Also on loan at Barnet, Gillingham, Portsmouth and Oldham. Hope Akpan. Signed from Crawley in 2013. Jake Taylor. Welsh under-21 international. Bodin on for Montano after 57 minutes.
Radio Berkshire commentators have been very complimentary about Cristian Montano.

Four substitutions by Reading on the hour mark: Pavel Pogrebnayk, Chris Gunter, Nick Blackman and Oliver Norwood are on, Samuel, Long, Quinn and Akpan make way.
Blissett and Malpas also came on for Taylor and Sinclair.
Now 2:0 down. (Blackman scored).

Was a harsh result, we were the better team. A draw would have been fair.
