Could we ask our legal advisors if they would still recommend this if they were on a No Win - No Pay basis?

Well thats another year, two years of uncertainty then.
Meanwhile nothing will be spent on The Mem as we will be movijg to a new ground/redeveloping soon as we have for a bloody decade.
Mr.Higgs pray do tell how we are financing this and how we are planning on.paying wonga by the end of the year

If NH funds this out of his own money then that's up to him. However: if he expects us fans to pay for his own 'fights'. Then I am not happy. We need straight questions and answers. How much have we spent ? How much is the appeal ? How much is the playing budget cut ? How do we repay all this debt ?.
We just can't carry on like this.

More money down the drain then. I hope we are all wrong, though.

Let's be generous and estimate a 25% chance of winning some time in 2016, at which point Sainsbury's would likely appeal, so there's a small chance that some time in 2017 / 18 this approach will raise £30 million, which won't fund the stadium.
Presumably, Plan B is deemed less likely than that to fund the stadium (or doesn't exist).
If a better Plan B can't be formulated, this scheme fails any rational viability test. Drop it and focus on something achievable that will move us forward. Please stop dicking about with our football club.

Not for a year or two until the Appeal is heard!

Published 12.30 on Saturday. Just when someone got round to it, or lawyers working weekends?

Maybe Rovers are giving Sainsbury's a dose of their own medicine and playing for time a bit?

Look at this another way, the previous judge may have found the arguments for an against too woolley to make a concise determination leaving it open for a higher court to make the decision.
She has basically said "I'm not sure, ask my boss".
I think Higgs is right to appeal if, after consideration with the lawyers, and in the shadow of 10,000 condemining gasheads, there's enough information to justify the fight.

Surely we would only appeal if our lawyers believed there was a decent chance of winning the appeal. If there is a chance surely we should try. Appreciate any advice given might be economical with the truth but surely it's better to try than to give up. Christ if Rovers gave up every time there was another hurdle put in the way......!
As for the financial implications let's hope Nick is funding this in its entirety!

If think we can safely say that there is not, and never has been, a Plan B.
Or C, D, E, F...

Glad they are going to appeal, no point going this far and not seeing it through to the end.
