By Nailsworth standards, he's actually moving them a long way. I imagine there will be opposition?
I like the scheme, but can't he leave the football club where they are?

I think the club is better of staying put, but he seems to think its fan base can and will increase with new stadium.

Now that news has really rubbed salt into a very open wound, it couldn't have been stage-managed much better if they'd tried. We've clearly upset the gods in some way.

This project just cements in my mind what i think about Forrest Green already, they are a nice idea and that is it, they have an owner who is doing something different but not really pushing that hard to be competitive on the pitch and now he would like to build a new eco sports complex with 5000 seater stadium. As a serious football club i don't they have the wheels.

It's a pity it's not a few miles south at Junction 12 or we could have ground shared!
I wonder how the stadium/development is going to be financed when it seems the only way we can finance a new ground is from Sainsbury's money?

Dale Vince is a pointless little man in charge of a pointless little club.
Best wishes.

Bet it wouldn't get built if he tried it in Bristol. Not with all the moaning green twats that are here. Even thought it's an "Eco" park those idiots would still object.

Not sure how it's going to be financed, he is worth over £100m and his fortune continues to rise at some rate with new windmill farms popping up, if he continues to own the entire company then he will end up a billionaire within a decade or two the rate that ecotricity is growing.
